Why Hootsuite 2.0 is The Best Twitter Management Program
The new version of HootSuite is more powerful and provides instant information at your fingertips with less clicking around to try and find the information you want. To upgrade you simply log into your Hootsuite account and click on the “Tweet” button to upgrade your account. Once your account is upgraded you will notice a default three column interface that is much more Tweetdeck like and very modular allowing you to create and remove custom columns on the fly.
Hootsuite has a lightning fast search ability which easily popups up a column with all of your search results and allows you to turn it into a simple column with one additional click.
Not only can you manage your incoming and outgoing tweets, but you can collect stats on the number of clicks your links are receiving. This tracking feature stands out and is one of the primary features that make Hootsuite stand apart and better than Tweetdeck as you cannot track URL analytics with tweetdeck unless you set it to using a URL Compressions service and then use that other website to track the click analytics.

Not only can you manage multiple twitter profiles and keep track of all of your columns in a tweetdeck like web interface, but you can actually create customized “embeddable” columns that you can display on any website or blog showing readers what information you want them to see updating in real time. Hootsuite provides the following video to show you how to accomplish this:
Hootsuite also integrates with Ping.FM via the “Settings” (Ping.FM) tab so you can blast your tweets and reply’s to dozens of other social networks simply and easily. I happen to use HelloTxt instead of Ping.FM and wish Hootsuite would have supported HelloTxt as well, but maybe that will be a future enhancement.
Features that HootSuite 2.0 Supports that Tweetdeck does not include:
Delayed Tweets - You can queue tweets to be kicked off at set date/time intervals
Tweet Analytics – Track the amount of clicks your URL’s are getting
The application will even show you new “tweets” in your columns by indicating with a little blue circle on the right and listing the total # of new tweets in the column header:

What do you think of the new Hootsuite, are you as impressed as I am?

Would you use this along side of a buzzhackers service (or similar) or is this meant to replace them all together?
