  • Abhi Balani

Participating again. Lets see what happens. I’ll give it to any of my friend in US.

    • @Abhi Balani Happy New Year, good luck and thanks for entering the contest.

  • vhick

I also participate again to this wonderful giveaway!

    • @vhick Good luck, thanks for entering the Kindle Fire Giveaway.

  • AnoopJacob

If I win, I will gift it to my uncle in US. He will probably give it to his beautiful two little daughters (my cousins), which will make their new year awesome 😉

    • @AnoopJacob Certainly would make a great gift, good luck to you.

  • I am in 🙂

    • @hacktohell1 Thanks for entering, it is really a great tablet and I have come to like it even more the last few days.

  • Linda K

My kids keep walking off with my Fire, so it’d be cool to be able to use one too!

    • @Linda K I felt like that about my iPad 2, my kids kept using it more than me so I bought them their own Kindle Fire’s for Christmas.

  • davelucas

Hi Justin! To you and your dragonbloggers a very Happy New Year!

The Kindle? I want it for myself! What would I do with it? I’d use it like crazy! I’m mad about books and electronically-deliverable text of all kinds! The case and screen protector will come in mighty handy because I’ll be carrying the KF around with me 24/7! Thanks for the opportunity to enter!

    Blog On!

    • @davelucas The case is really good and New Trent sent me a previous model that I gave to my Mother in Law as a Christmas present. This one is even better quality than the older model. My kids and M-I-L love their Kindle Fires, my kids call them iPads it is so much like that they don’t see a difference. Seriously, my kids are tech savvy and not once have they complained their Kindle Fire couldn’t do something the iPad could.

  • Noahsmom23

I would love to win this for my son Noah. His best buddies Mason and Oliver both got them for Christmas and now he wants one really bad. I am sure Noah would use it non stop and when he wasn’t using it I could use it for myself.

    • @Noahsmom23 Thanks for entering the contest Melissa, Noah would certainly love it and the boys would have a great time sharing apps together. There probably are some that are multiplayer too, though I haven’t seen them play any yet and don’t know off the top of my head other than chess, checkers, scrabble and stuff. Good luck.

Good luck.

  • Erin Thompson

I would love to win this for my husband. He deploys to Afghanistan in March. This is his third tour over there. This would be a great time passer for him while he is over there. He could convert a bunch of DVDs plus have games to keep him occupied. It can get very mundane over there.

    • @Erin Thompson Will he have access to Wi-Fi over there? The Kindle Fire is great for 1-2 movie stored, but has only 8GB storage and lacks external SD card storage for more movies. Wi-Fi is essential if you want to use it as a media device other than having 1 or 2 movies. Many games can play without wi-fi and you can store hundreds of songs locally too, but I can only generally fit 1 movie at time on my son’s Kindle Fire’s without interfering with other app/media space.

  • EisleyJacobs

I would love to win this for my kids! 🙂

    • @EisleyJacobs good to see you entering this contest as well, good luck.

      • EisleyJacobs

@Dragon Blogger My kids had waaaay too much fun with this… 😉 http://eisleyjacobs.com/misc/kindle-fire-giveaway/

  • BGraybeal

I would love to win it for my wife. She’s a good mom, a great wife, and besides, she always gets the newest products and I get her hand-me-downs. So, it’s a win for both of us!

    • @BGraybeal really cool comment, I got my wife an iPad 2 before I got one, and my wife had an iPod touch a year before I got one too. Grandma got my old Nano as a hand me down this year.

  • tranch

i would love to win this for my mum she loves reading but has run out of room on her bookshelf for more books time to simplify things for her.

  • Windchaser

I have 1 Kindle Fire that I share with my 2 great grandsons(3 and 5) that I am raising. As you can imagine I don’t get to use it much if they are awake. We love it and it goes every where with us. They stay entertained in the car, doctor offices, and of course around the house. I would really like to have one to call my own so I can play my games and read my books without having to beg for it.

    • @Windchaser isn’t it amazing how fast little ones adapt to technology? Good luck in the contest.

  • PJ Boston

I would love to gift a Kindle to my twin sister. She’s an angel to so many and so much fun as a mom and friend. She deserves a sweet little kindle to cuddle up with or to share with her young daughter. She’s certainly the good twin. She has cheerfully worked with families who have children with cancer for the last 20 years. Last year she helped one teen get her wish of giving away her Make-a-Wish trip to Disneyland to a family who’s son had died (and thus wasn’t eligible for a wish). The story makes me cry every time.

    • @PJ Boston Really cool and caring person, wishing you best of luck so you can surprise her.

  • Great contest Justin, the Kindle Fire is an amazing prize. I don’t own a tablet yet, I’m so 2010s. lol I do plan on getting one soon so I can stop dragging a laptop around everywhere I go. Maybe this contest will save me from buying it.

Brian from Blog Engage, as you know, just finished his latest contest using Rafflecopter. I didn’t pay attention that closely then but I like the way it requires a comment before moving to social sharing. I’m going to setup a contest very soon and Rafflecopter looks like the perfect platform.

Happy New Year, I hope you have a fantastic 2012!

    • @HotBlogTips In my last contest I required following account on Facebook first, but not everyone used Facebook (Shocking I know) and some people were creating Twitter accounts for the 1st time just to enter contest. This was easier since Livefyre allows guest commenting. Rafflecopter though now requires FB login to sign in.

I have 2 iPad 2 and 2 Kindle Fire’s in my house, for blogging I prefer the iPad 2 to replace a notebook. The reason is the iPad 2 allows for a bluetooth keyboard and the Kindle Fire does not. The Kindle Fire is great, but isn’t as good a laptop replacement as an iPad 2 if you want to blog from it or do a lot of typing. The Kindle Fire is great for reading, watching, games but the lack of camera and bluetooth keyboard make it hard to recommend to replace a notebook.

  • stepshep

I want it for me! I’m mostly curious to see if I can root it. I’m too afraid I’ll break something of mine that I need. But a freebie? I’ll probably just continually crash it.

    • @stepshep Good point, and even though Amazon recently released a patch that broke all rooted devices I think it can still be rooted and toyed around with.

  • Tiffanymichelle

OK! I want to win the Fire for my little sister. She is an avid and dedicated reader, and the Fire would enable her to get and read her books faster. This way she won’t have to make the weekly trip to the bookstores. The apps, movies, mags and web are like the cherry on top of the cake in this deal. Her BD is coming up in a couple months and it would be the PERFECT gift!! I’m excited to try my luck!! I always have my backup gift just in case!

    • @Tiffanymichelle Good luck, all the things you mention about the Kindle Fire are what it is perfect for.

  • patelsanam

Never use kindle fire before. But heard a good reviews about Kindle fire. So Curious to win. 🙂

    • @patelsanam It is th 2nd best selling tablet of all time, this is with it being out for less than 2 months!

  • RajShekar

I would like to gift this to my wife who is an Avid reader and right now goes to Library and gets the books. If I present this, she can enjoy her reading right from home.

    • @RajShekar Yes this works great, and with the ability to add an ePUB reader to Kindle Fire manually, or convert ePUB books to Kindle format you have so many books at your disposal.

  • Second go around for me. I want one one of these Kindle Fire…lol

    • @tonygreene113 Good luck again Tony

      • @Dragon Blogger coming back after I get rid of some dormant fb pages…

  • Thanks for your post..I never use kindle fire but I’m interested on it..

    • @Gabriel Gutierrez It’s a great tablet, my kids love theirs.

  • SweepsMama

My readers are all into Kindle Fire! Thanks for the chance!

    • @SweepsMama Yep, the Kindle Fire is sure very popular and has a great price/feature point.

  • TinaMacisco

I would love to win this so myself along with my daughter would be able to read more. Along with going on the web (cheaper than a laptop) As a single parent with a teenager, its not always easy to get the fun things that most kids think are necessities.

    • @TinaMacisco At 8 and 5 my kids don’t use their Kindle Fire’s to browser the web, they strictly use it for games, watching Netflix movies or listening to music. But browsing the web is certainly a good option and it does have all the social media apps like Facebook/Twitter..etc.

  • MeganCurd

I would love to win this for myself, because I’m an author as well as an eBook formatter. The fire would be great to make sure the books I convert and format for other authors as well as myself turn out great for everyone else to read!! Plus, who can turn down Plants v. Zombies on a larger screen? 🙂

    • @MeganCurd You may very well be interested in my other post about how to convert ePUB to Kindle format as well. I have been meaning to publish my poetry volume in Kindle format just haven’t had time to put it together yet. Plants Vs Zombies is pretty fun on the Kindle Fire, much better than the Nintendo DS screen.

  • dopeymouse05

I would love to keep this for myself, to use as a good study break 🙂

    • @dopeymouse05 Yeah, it works well as a study break. Plus if you are a student Amazon lets you rent textbooks and you can read them on the Kindle Fire too.

  • Jennifer Bielman

Thanks for the Giveaway. I want a Kindle Fire so bad I can taste it.

    • @Jennifer Bielman Good luck in the Kindle Fire contest, it is a great tablet for the price and free is the best price.

  • Ankur

    Thanks for the Giveaway.

If I win , I would use it for variety of purpose:

    1. Reading Books. Since I read a lot. Kindle Fire could help me to be a ebook Reader substitute and I can read and buy ebooks from amazon on the go , saving my money and time.

    2. Web Surfing is also a major advantage. I can easily use it without having the need to turn on my laptop every-time.

    3. I can carry it to my college and since it got a very good battery life, it could help me in my projects too.

    4. Lastly, we should also have fun and due to android backbone, I can play some awesome games too 🙂

    Thanks

    • @Ankur There are some awesome games for it. Reading is also great and the Kindle Fire supports the new Media KF8 format for rich media book titles as well.

  • I’d love a Kindle Fire – but I’d probably sell it and put the money towards an iPad as that’s my dream tablet.

    • @John Davenport I love my iPad 2 and honestly if you have the money the iPad 2 is vastly better, Facetime alone is a huge selling factor for me so I can video chat with kids while on vacation. But for those on tight budget or wanting something without video the Kindle Fire is amazing for $200. Thanks for entering the contest, and I hear iPad 3 should be announced maybe in next 60 days or less.

      • @Dragon Blogger I’ve heard the rumor and really can’t wait to see what the next gen iPad will have in store. If my tax return is large enough I may spoil myself.

  • I’ve always wanted one of these but have never had the funding to get one. This would be a great BDay gift for me. I’m turning 30 this month! Eek!

  • Barb Pires

If I win I will use this when I am waiting in between softball games and volleyball games for my two daughters!! Thanks for the opportunity to win :0)

    • @Barb Pires Good luck to you, using it to kill time is great. My kids play it for 5 hours while we are driving to San Diego from Phoenix.

  • Wow! I would love to have that kindle. Awesome giveaways!

  • Nice giveaway. This was a good idea. Kindle for New year? wow!

    • @mifs123 I really enjoy giving cool gadgets away, it’s fun.

    • @mifs123 I really enjoy giving cool gadgets away, it’s fun.

  • SoSimplyScotty

YESSSS! Another contest! I just want to let you know that I loved your last one and was waiting for the next! I was excited to find out that it was so soon!

    • @SoSimplyScotty It was voted to be another Kindle Fire and with over 3 million of them being sold in less than 60 days it is still a hot item.

  • Rexanne

I want one for myself 🙂

    • @Rexanne Thanks for entering the contest, good luck on trying to win a Kindle Fire.

  • kimarketing

Would love to win a Kindle Fire for myself as I’ve heard good things about them and my kids keep stealing my iPad!

    • @kimarketing My kids stealing my iPad 2 was the main reason I bought both of them a Kindle Fire for Xmas, they have red/green cases and I created separate Amazon accounts for each of them with a dummy credit card number to prevent charging any real account for apps that weren’t free.

  • Reminds me of when I bought my wife an iPad for her birthday and she turned around and bought me one for our Anniversary a month later. Good luck in the contest.

  • Thanks Jennifer, appreciate the compliment.

  • Thanks Jennifer, appreciate the compliment.

  • Thanks Jennifer, appreciate the compliment.

  • Ironically I don’t have a spare Kindle Fire, would love to root it and play with experimenting but I use my son’s and don’t want to break it or make it unusable for him. Today alone I installed Dropbox on the Kindle Fire even though Amazon Store won’t let you, I got it working as a separate manual install.

  • Rachelle

If I won this Kindle Fire I would give it to my best friend, who has always been there for me. He has helped me out so much over the last year when I have literally lost everything. He’s picked me up and helped me keep going.

    • Certainly is someone worth a gift like this, good luck.

  • I’d love to have this for myself or maybe as a gift for my mother. Hmmm. what to do. Maybe we could share it and have joint custody.

    • @lacelk Sharing is good, but once you have one you will not want to share. Trust me, they get addicting quick!

  • giveawayhound

I would love to win this for my husband’s birthday.

    • @giveawayhound Cool, good luck and Happy Birthday to him. When is his birthday?

  • erikiksaz

I would love to win this for my GF

    • @erikiksaz Does she read a lot or would she be more interested in the games, apps and such?

  • Hyzennthlay C

I would love to win this for my fiance’! He loves to read and I would love to get a good collection of kid’s books for him to read to our son! I think he would enjoy watching movies and such on it when he is at the fire station.

    • Netflix, Hulu Plus and Amazon Prime are great on the Kindle Fire, very watchable and each has pro’s. Hulu Plus is best for TV Shows, Netflix for movies / family flicks and Kindle Fire VOD is great for renting new releases.

  • SnKmommy

I would love to win this for myself/family. With my son having Asperger’s and my own medical issue we are at doctor’s quite often, and to say their reading supplies are inadequate is an understatement. I would love to have one to take with us on our numerous weekly doctors/specialist visits to help make the wait go faster. I also think reading off one would be easier with 2 kids running around, then a normal book would be.

    • @SnKmommy Absolutely, having a few of these for your 2 kids to keep them occupied in doctor’s office would definitely be a boon. Wishing you good luck, and stay tuned I plan on giving away many more Kindle Fire’s this year.

  • AbdulsalamKhan

I Lost Many Time on my many giveaways but i think i gona win this giveaway

    Take me in!

    • @AbdulsalamKhan I win totally obscure ones sometimes, the last 2 winner’s of my Kindle Fire giveaway were so surprised and totally psyched.

  • AndyLear

The Kids are just getting properly into reading, and having a slew of books available for them seems like a plan, also looks ideal for the kitchen, all those recipes off the web just waiting to be tried out without destroying a forest!

    • @AndyLear HTML5 and media books that allow them to click on pictures/objects in the book and interact while they read provide an interactivity level that is just incredible. My 5 year old knows how to use his Kindle Fire so well and playing the apps/games on it helps him recognize words and numbers. He knows dollar amounts, “Free” of course is his favorite. Dad, this one is FREE see!

  • ada miller

    Thanks!

  • Another Great giveaway …..

If I win this, I would like to use it as a portable 😉 stress buster during times !!

    • @TechCrates Yeah, the latest game addiction is Little Empire, this game is fantastic and doesn’t even exist for iPad / iOS, I WISH it did!

  • bebemiqui

I’d love to win this for me since my kids are computer hogs and I’d love to watch Netflix or Hulu. How’s the interface?

    bebemiqui82(at)yahoo(dot)com

    • @bebemiqui Great, my 5 year old loves watching Danny Phantom or Spongebob on Netflix on the Kindle Fire, I also loaded Mr. Popper’s Penguins ripped from my DVD on the Kindle Fire at 1500 bitrate and it plays great. Only took up 1.1gb file space too. Honestly the dimensions of the Kindle Fire make the video look almost as large as the iPad screen.

  • Boston2Berkeley

I would love to win the kindle fire! I’m traveling every month and would love to have a tablet instead of always pulling out my laptop

    • @Boston2Berkeley Yeah, it is great and fast for planes where you just want to watch something or play some quick games without booting a laptop that only has 1.5 hours of battery life.

  • alittlenosh

Is it selfish that I want to win it for myself??

    • @alittlenosh Nope, most people enter contests to win something for themselves.

  • Mo

I’d love to give it to my son for his upcoming bday!

    • Cool, Happy Birthday to him. The Kindle Fire would make an excellent gift.

  • I’d like to win it for my husband, Scott, since our Christmas was lean any extra was for the kids and he deserves something great as a belated gift!

  • AashishDas

never liked or follow so many things at the same time before… hey holly Santa.. give me this kindle fire.. 🙂

    • @AashishDas This is small, I saw some blog with Rafflecopter that have you like over 110+ fanpages as entries and the contest which is on a spiral of networks/blogs collected hundreds of thousands of entries total.

  • Stacy Taylor

watches in dismay as her chances plummet to almost zero. same story new day:) good luck everyone and thanks for the giveaway even though i’m almost sure to lose. again:)

  • Dragonblogger

Long shots always stand a chance, one of the last winner’s only had 5 entries out of the over 2800+ and was chosen.

  • Stacy Taylor

good to know! i’ll happily keep trying either way…it’s fun even when i lose:)

  • aycee_oh

I have one. I want one for my fiancee. He does real estate and the apps for him would make things so much easier on the go.

    • @aycee_oh Good luck, though remember it can only do Wi-Fi not 3G so on the go internet access is limited to wi-fi zones only.

  • AngelCraig

Wow! Thanks for the giveaway! I have a Nook, but will definitely give this a try, too. I’ll probably give one to my husband if I win this.

    • @AngelCraig The Nook isn’t bad at all, I haven’t been able to do an identical comparison hands on to say which I like better, I can only say the Kindle Fire is a really good option at the $200 price point. The integration with Amazon and Amazon App store are fantastic.

  • Roxy

i’m hoping to win this for my fiance!

  • ewalsh40

I would love to give it to my son, he’s going off to college next year and I think it would come in handy. Thanks for the chance!

    • @ewalsh40 Yes, I only recently learned you can rent college text books for Kindle for fraction of the cost at buying books. You can rent them for semesters at a time too!

  • LoriMcwilliams

I have a child who loves to read and would love having it all in color plus all the apps! I love my 3G Kindle!

    • @LoriMcwilliams Right, the apps are great, lately my kids love Little Empire and Angry Beaver which is a clone of Angry Birds.

  • beerrun

Would like to win it for myself, would probably give it to my wife, but my kids would most likely lay claim to it as their own.

    • @beerrun My kids were fast to consume most of my iPad time, but now that they have their own Kindle Fire’s they don’t ask for my iPad anymore. Nearly every app they wanted is on the Kindle Fire, even my son who bought Real Steal boxing game for iPad found it on Amazon App Store for the Kindle Fire.

  • MomMostTraveled

I just moved back to NYC after 10 years of being in Asia. I had to leave my library behind. So i want this for myself. 🙂 @MomMostTraveled

    • @MomMostTraveled Good luck, wow living 10 years in Asia I bet you have some stories.

      • MomMostTraveled

@Dragon Blogger I do! And I have been on lots of really long flights, too. An ereader would make them more awesome. 🙂 I wish they were invented in 2001.

    • @MomMostTraveled Good luck, wow living 10 years in Asia I bet you have some stories.

  • I want to win bcoz Now i am in college and want to take kindle to my college instead of laptop also kindle is not so much popular in my country. So i also want to brag little much in my friends that i won it in a competition…:)

    • @DANILION55 Yep, this is an ideal purpose of Kindle Fire, replacing 50 pounds of books all in one app/device.

  • spk

    I did this

  • HollyJahangiri

Abhi sent me – he says I need to win this, and share it with my kids. (I don’t know about this whole “share it with my kids” thing, but that’s probably good and lucky karma, so sure, okay, I’ll share it with the kids AND my husband, if I win it.) Seriously, I’d like to have one device I could curl up with and read or watch video on. Can I use it to watch Amazon Instant Video, too?

    • @HollyJahangiri Yes, you can watch Amazon instant video’s through prime or rent new releases right from the device. Works great, Hulu+ and Netflix work very well also. I have memberships to all 3 in my house for my Roku, iPad and Kindle Fire’s.

      • HollyJahangiri

@Dragon Blogger Great! That would be so convenient, to be able to watch Amazon Prime Instant Video on the Kindle. I really hope I win this one!

  • Despite that I have seen a lot of complaints, my kids have 0 complaints about their Kindle Fire. It is easy to use and it works very well.

  • cordman

I would want to win this for my 10 month old son so that I can introduce him to “technology” while reading his children books before bedtime. Hopefully we win. @Dragon Blogger

    • @cordman Good luck, and stay tuned. This is the 3rd Kindle Fire I am giving away, there will be more giveaways and more Kindle Fire’s too in the future.

  • SueBarney

I wanna win one for my mom we just lost my step dad to cancer in Nov and I would love to win one to keep her mind occupied during these long cold winter months until she can get outside in the spring to play in her garden….

    • @SueBarney Sorry to hear about your loss, keeping busy and having something to do can sometimes help and I wish you good luck.

  • FreedomMMC

Very cool post I may take you up on your kindle offer this is a creative way to get the word out. Good stuff.

    • FreedomMMC

I’ll post the article here when complete: http://youronline.biz/category/news/

      • @FreedomMMC Sure, don’t forget to post the URL in Rafflecopter so entry is valid. I look forward to reading it.

  • kathjaros

would be awesome to win. thanks for the chance

  • CecilHelton

I’d use it for reading on the go.

    • @CecilHelton Yep, it’s good for that. I don’t have any newspaper delivery anymore at my house now.

  • CecilHelton

I’d use it for reading on the go.

  • Hello Justin,

This is superb! I have never used a kindle fire and I’m amazed at how these gadgets operate, so I would like to use one to update myself of new technologies, most especially in my field of work. I want to win the Amazon Kindle Fire and the uRex DVD platinum so that I can have my favorite DVDs with me all the time.

I’ll be writing a post about this tonight. Happy New Year.

    • @Jena Isle Don’t forget I can only ship it to U.S. address only.

  • slbphoenix

Wow! You are amazing! Thanks for the chance to win! I’m not sure what I would do with it. I think I would see which is better ‘Nook or Kindle’.

    • @slbphoenix I need to get my hands on a Nook to truly compare them myself. Right now though I have almost no complaints with the Kindle Fire, it isn’t as good as an iPad 2 but it is wonderful at the price point it is at. It is more responsive and better since the December OS patch too and I am sure future patches will improve features as well.

      • HollyJahangiri

@Dragon [email protected] I have the Nook with 3G and wi-fi but it’s the e-Ink technology that I wanted out of an eReader. Now a small tablet would be nice, and it would be convenient to watch streaming video from Amazon on it, as well (since I’ve no intention of moving my PC to the couch, you know?) If anyone outside the US wins and feels especially generous… 😉 You know how to reach me! LOL

        • @[email protected] You make a good point, if anyone does win outside the U.S. I can see if their plans and if they plan on selling it (maybe reduced price) I can check with other contestants to see if anyone is willing to buy it and have it directly shipped to them.

  • vinaykgowda

Kindle fire was one of those low-cost tablet that everyone wanted to buy one. Maybe it can’t compete against iPad, but it has got its own unique feature list! Love to get one 🙂 Cheers Justin!

    • @vinaykgowda Thanks Vinay, remember I can only ship to U.S. only address.

  • Sounds great to me!

  • krenee76

    Hi Justin!

Wow! This is really amazing of you to offer another chance to win a Kindle. I was hoping to win one or get one for Christmas, but that didn’t happen – so this second opportunity definitely puts a smile on my face!

    • @krenee76 There was such a huge participation, over 2800+ entries in the last Kindle Fire Giveaway that I knew I had to give another one away. This is still a hot item and at less than 60 days old it is already the best selling tablet of all time behind the iPad 🙂

  • SaraValor

Hi Justin, thanks so much for the invitation, very thoughtful and kind. I’ve not used any new devices of gadgets and think that winning one would be great. I’d use it for reading while not at home on my pc and having some good DVD’s on hand will be nice too.

    Best of Luck to All!

    Sara Valor

    • @SaraValor Yes, I am also giving away DVD Ripper software as part of the giveaway which will rip your DVD’s to let you put them on Kindle Fire via USB cable. I have done this with several movies already including Iron Man, Zathura and Mr. Poppers Penguins.

  • I did this

  • Hi Justin,Thanks for sending an invitation to me :)I done all the requirements to enter

    I hope i win a Kindle Fire 🙂

    All the Best to Everyone.

    • @saikrishna1234 Good luck, glad I sent a Facebook event invite. It just shows that even with 1900+ Facebook friends many did not see my normal updates and know about the contest.

  • ifarooq20

    hi Justin,

Thank you for the Invite to join this giveaway, I would love to get this Kindle Fire as I haven’t got any new gadget and I will really love to get a Gadget like Fire….

    thank you 😀

    • @ifarooq20 Good luck, thanks for entering the contest.

  • thanks for making this giveaway possible justin…i already like ur page and follow u on twitter but i currently dont have any relative in US and even if i had i wouldn’t want him/her to get it..hehehe #selfish 😛 i follow ur blog very closely…keep em coming! 😀

    • @Crysislevel If you win it, you could sell it to someone at a reduced rate? Auction, Craigslist maybe even another contestant would be willing to buy it for say $100 which is 1/2 price. Or, if you are willing to cover shipping I will ship it to you internationally, just know that shipping was $130 to India last time I checked.

      • @Dragon [email protected] ok. i am convinced…lol 😛 just logged in to the event 😀

  • Reegler

    Kindle Fire Limerick

There was a young lady named Claire,

Wanted a kindle for her fiance, who’s unaware,

It was on his Christmas list,

I didnt get it, but here’s the twist,

If I won the kindle fire, he wouldn’t care!

Maybe I could redeem myself if I presented him with a brand new Kindle Fire! #goodfiance?

    Claire – @Reegler

    • @[email protected] Good luck, what did you wind up getting her for Christmas?

      • Reegler

@Dragon Blogger ‘Him’ you mean 😉 Fiancé refers to my fella

He wanted a kindle for Christmas but then thought as he has an ipad that perhaps he didn’t need one.

That didn’t last very long……. He’s very into his gadgets and he still wants a Kindle, much better for reading (which he does a lot of!)

        Claire

        • @Reegler Sorry Claire, I didn’t see the name in the signature part of your comment and based by guesstimating the username Reegler. It is funny because I have an iPad 2 and love it, but I find myself constantly borrowing my son’s Kindle Fire for testing apps/reviews on my tech blog. Even though iPad is better, for this tech blog there are advantages to doing Kindle Fire testing/review stuff.

  • Awesome giveaway, Justin. Thanks for the invite!

  • Phoenixx138

It would be really awesome to win it for the family! The Kindle Fire is an entertainment device – we would love to access Amazon’s impressive collection of movies, music, magazines and book services. Thanks for the great giveaway, Justin!

  • Phoenixx138

It would be really awesome to win it for the family! The Kindle Fire is an ideal entertainment device – we would love to access Amazon’s impressive collection of movies, music, magazines and book services. Thanks for the great giveaway, Justin!

    • @Phoenixx138 Happy to showcase this giveaway and give back to my readers, good luck.

  • JCMartin_author

What a great giveaway! If I win, I’d run my own giveaway on my blog with this as a grand prize! It will be an awesome way to promote my own blog. Sneaky, I know. 🙂

    • HollyJahangiri

@JCMartin_author Kindles and iPads: the Fruitcakes of the New Millennium.

    • @JCMartin_author I would use the same tactic myself, I already have 2 Kindle Fire’s in my house, but I still enter other Kindle Fire giveaways just to win them and turn around and give them away again. I do the same with iPad giveaways, I just haven’t ever won a cool gadget yet to turn around and giveaway.

  • Yep, renting books from local library and reading them for free digitally rocks, saves so much money and time. Also eBook rentals are generally cheaper than paperback/hardcover equiv.

  • JamesJohnston

Another great give away Justin. I wold love to win one of these. I have been looking at purchasing these for a few months now. The Kindle Fire make it so easy to store all those tech books I have to buy each year. With one of these, I don’t have to worry about a place to store or try and sell them use bookstores. I will always have access to all my books where ever I am.

    • @JamesJohnston Yep, having all those tech manuals in PDF on the Kindle Fire is a breeze.

      • JamesJohnston

@Dragon Blogger The only downside to having all your books on the tablet is you can add notes and highlight things as easily. I sure there are apps to do this but, it different…But still worth it.

        • @JamesJohnston Right, there are several ebook apps, they have bookmarks, highlighting, notes. Also think about selectively cut/pasting parts of paragraphs from multiple books into a single note and how much manual effort something like this would be with books 🙂

  • Spurked

Getting some online work done during lunch hours is what i’m up for, would be far more useful than having to carry around a laptop!

And i’m australian, awesome show off product, especially given it hasn’t yet been released 🙂

  • Terri P

If I were lucky enough to win, I’d keep it for myself. I’d really love to have one. I used to cart boxes and boxes of books with me every time I moved but I loved to re-read my favorite books. It’d be so much easier with a KF plus it’s just a cool piece of tech! Thanks for the chance to win!

    • My kids love them and almost take them everywhere now, good luck.

    • My kids love them and almost take them everywhere now, good luck.

  • zachstephens

i would love to have a kindle fire for myself! since this new tablet has came out i have been dying to get my hands on one…the problem is i dont have the extra cash 🙁 and this GREAT giveaway that i just found out about which is awesome to me 🙂 would really give me the chance to finally own one of those wonderful tablets! i love the network an love staying up to date on my new books and all the cool apps that amazon has in store for this nice tablet! plus if i do win it i could save money so i dont have to buy more books an newspapers and all that good stuff because i would have it right in the palm of my hand….

    • @zachstephens Thanks for entering the contest and keep following the site, we are going to be giving away a video game (reader’s choice) in a few weeks as well as more Kindle Fires in the weeks to come.

  • lisa doyle

I would like to win a Kindle Fire for my Daughter Elizabeth. She is such a great Person.

    Thanks

    Lisa

  • Rub

If I win it I would love to give it to my husband. We’re both students and do not work, so we can only dream about owning fancy gadgets like these. Been so long I did not buy him any gift, so I believe that would make the perfect surprise for him 🙂

    • @Rub Good luck, I am sure he would love it if you win.

  • Loc

    I saw this Kindle Fire

    Where Justin is giving away

All I have to do is write a poem

    Which is child’s play

I contemplate on who I would give it to

    And realize,

It should go to my one true love

    She’ll be so surprise

It’s thin, slick and I won’t even mention the leather case

Full of apps, potentials and charm

But I need to write something witty

If I was to raise any harm

    My mind goes blank

And I don’t know what to do

    The dead-line fast approaches

Take a deep breath and bush it through

    If I don’t win

    I’ll get her some flowers

I know it’s not the same

But it’s what I get paid by the hour

    • @Loc Love the entry, something suited for my wandererthoughts.com poetry blog. Good luck in the contest.

  • edb3803

I’d like to win a Kindle Fire for myself. Although, I’d have to seriously consider giving it to my youngest daughter. She would absolutely love one of these!

    • @edb3803 It is a great gift for kids, and the price point was why I bought one for my kids for Xmas.

  • avih

I want to win a Kindle Fire because I am looking to save paper, read magazines and newspapers – not only books – as well as enjoy media on Amazon’s amazing library

    • @avih Good luck and remember to get as many entries as possible to increase your odds of winning.

    • @avih Good luck and remember to get as many entries as possible to increase your odds of winning.

  • Good luck in the contest.

  • Good luck in the contest.

  • i want to win kindle fire for my little sister because she is crazy about gadgets and love to read Ebooks 🙂

  • Kathy Hanley

I’d love to win this for my husband. He’s an avid newspaper reader and this would come in handy especially when we are traveling and New York newspapers aren’t available. It would also help our family in our quest to be even greener and not have newspapers to recycle.

    • @Kathy Hanley Reading News apps like USA Today, Daily News or NY Post are all available.

  • RachelKHardin

I want. To win a fire for my daughter. It will help her with her math, spelling and so many other thing’s she need for school! She’s a bit behind in school and I know this would give her the extra help and boost she needs!

    • @RachelKHardin There are a growing number of education related apps, the free Moon Phase app today was FANTASTIC. My son loved changing the phases of the moon from full to new moon and learning the waxing/waning patterns.

  • I would love to win a Kindle Fire for myself to read books and use apps.

  • Hi Justin,

Wow, amazed by the participation on these contests! Congrats. Also, thanks so much for the video on RaffleCopter in the sidebar. That’s exactly what I was looking for!

    • @adamtoporek No problem, I am a huge fan of Rafflecopter and that video was done before the new widget, so I need to do an updated one.

  • MaryannW

I’d like to win a Kindle Fire – for my classroom. I think it would be a GREAT way to get my students to read more … and one of the ways to improve reading is to do it. For many of my students, English is their second language; improving their reading will help in all areas of their education.

    • @MaryannW Absolutely, tablets will be the future of learning tools. I do predict with proper funding that most kids will be learning and reading from tablets in the future and physical text books will be a thing of the past. It is already cropping up in private schools but will be a long time before public schools see this.

  • TheSunshyn

I’d love to win a Kindle Fire for my husband, mainly because we’ve both got to switch to ebooks before the regular books take over any more rooms in our small house. I know he’d also love to have app games handy during his lunch breaks because his phone screen is too small for the games he likes.

    • @TheSunshyn Sounds like you guys buy a lot of books, the screen is definitely large enough to play games. I can’t play games on my iPod touch, the screen too small but the Fire is perfect sized and in some ways easier to hold and more 1 hand friendly that the iPad which is larger.

  • i want to win that kindle fire for my grandmother who is very muc fond of reading, i think that would be the most awesome gift for her coz using d modern technology ( touch ) she can read any book she want to .

    • @Karan1 I bought one for my mother in law for Christmas and she loves it. She is an avid reader, audio book listener and loves all the apps that my kids were playing on theirs. She also is going to start renting ebooks from the library.

  • Awesome giveaway! Let’s go for it! *Hope for the best* 🙂

    Thanks.

    • @arditasari Good luck to you, thanks for entering the Kindle Fire Giveaway contest.

  • Awesome giveaway! This is a good idea to celebrate in ushering the new year. I’d like to win that for myself. I love reading Ebooks, plus it’ll save me a lot of money to win it rather than buying it. 🙂

    • Good luck, the tablet performed way above my expectations on every level as a holiday gift this year.

  • trishden

Hello, the Kindle Fire is the newest must have. Thanks for a chance to win one!

  • ArthurCaudill

I would like to win one for my wife. I think she would love it. Thanks.

    • @ArthurCaudill Good luck, I am sure she would love the prize.

  • I would like to win this for my sister who has done everything for me and always is so nice and gives me more than she should. She deserves something really nice. 🙂

    • You are a cool brother for wanting to win one for your sis, good luck.

  • JohnAguiar

    @maria_muir TY Maria 🙂

  • georgegijo

You are running a great contest. I’d like to win one for myself. Thanks

    • @georgegijo Thanks, good luck. Stay tuned, I am going to be given away a lot of cool stuff this year. The next contest will be a video game giveaway (reader’s choice) and will kick off in less than 2 weeks.

  • Rylan

Pich me I love my kindle fire and I would give this 1 to my niece!

    • @Rylan Cool, did you join our Kindle Fire Owners Facebook group yet? https://www.facebook.com/groups/186888544742618

  • DilipRoy

I like to win it for one of my most talented student whom I have promised to give some gifts. He is a great gadget lover like me and he will be very happy getting this.

    • @DilipRoy Wow, what a caring teacher to want to give one to a student. Good luck to you.

  • Sara Ann

I would like to win it for my dad for his birthday. He loves books and has been eyeing a fire!

    • Good luck, your dad would surely enjoy it. It is so easy to use and it is very user friendly.

  • Jarkko

I’d like to win it for my wife. She is sooo negative to what comes touch screens, etc. Laptop is only trustworthy machine. Thought I always keep hearing “stupid battery!… 😀

    • @Jarkko My wife is a touch screen skeptic as well and loves her iPad, she isn’t as in love with the Kindle Fire as my kids are and I am, but she still thinks it is amazing for $199, though can’t compare to the iPad 2.

  • Heather Ayala

I’m selfish! I want it for me. I have the kindle 2 but I’ve been drooling over the fire since I first heard of it. I’d use it for everything. I haven’t been on my computer much because of shoulder issues and it would be so much easier than my iPod. 🙂

    • @Heather Ayala It is convenient and carrying to use on the couch or while waiting at a doctor’s office is darn handy.

  • Deborah Rosen

I may be the only person in America without an eReader, so if I’m lucky enough to win, I’d keep it for myself. I’d use it to read books and magazines. Thanks for the chance.

    • @Deborah Rosen I never owned an e-Reader until I got an iPad in June 2011. The Kindle Fire is so much above and beyond an eReader too being a complete Android tablet (minus camera and bluetooth)

  • If I won it, I’d give it to my daughter for her 18th bday next month….she’s been wanting one for a long time and I’m pretty sure I’d win the #1 Mom award if I gifted it to her… Thanks for the opportunity

  • VictoriaLang

If I managed to win this Kindle Fire, I would give it to my Stepfather who is such a huge reader that he owns 4 10 foot custom made bookcases FULL of every D&D, Battletech, Conan, Forgotten Realms, and tons of other books. I can’t even remember them all. Plus a smaller bookcase overflowing with the books he’s bought and still needs to read. He taught me to take very good care of my books to ensure they last me a very long time and most of his books look like new, like they have never been read. He reads every day during lunch break and before bed and sometimes in between. I think a Kindle would be perfect for him and getting one for free means I could get him more books to start off with on it. 🙂 Plus he plays a lot of little flash games and I think he would get a kick out of the App Store as well. Thank you for this opportunity!!

    • @VictoriaLang Okay, my kind of guy. I own all the 3.5 Dungeons and Dragons books and about 40 Dragon Magazines before they retired. I also have some Planescape books and other RPG related material as well. I should take a photo of my library sometime. Unfortunately many RPG books never were published in Kindle Format, the old school stuff. Would be great for a gamer to have all his D&D Books in e-format for easy reference during a gaming session.

      • VictoriaLang

@Dragon [email protected] Yeah he has every D&D manual and module published from 2.0 on, I think he’s got some 1st gen stuff as well. It’s pretty impressive to walk into my parent’s living room and see his bookcases along the back wall. He got me into RPGs and is probably the reason I read so much sci-fi/fantasy now. My boyfriend has a lot of the 3.5 stuff in pdf files that he keeps on his laptop for gaming now. I’m sure they’d both love to see the manuals in e-reader format too. 🙂

  • Yeah, it works very well for watching media. Why anyone would buy portable DVD player’s is beyond me anymore.

  • jeevanjacobjohn

I would be a happy to win a Kindle Fire as my laptop has started to break apart (and a Kindle fire would be absolutely amazing and great to have at college for taking notes etc and I don’t have to carry that “heavy” laptop to school).

Let me try my luck 🙂

    Thanks for the contest, Justin!

  • jeevanjacobjohn

I would be a happy to win a Kindle Fire. There are many reasons, here are a few:

    1. My laptop has started to break apart – a Kindle Fire would be a great replacement for now.

    2. Kindle Fire weighs a lot less; I don’t have to carry that “heavy” laptop to school.

    3. I could still take notes and do all college related stuff!

Let me try my luck 🙂

    Thanks for the contest, Justin!

    • @jeevanjacobjohn Sounds like you need one my friend, I know how tight student budgets can be. Good luck to you.

  • ShelleyDonohue

Would love to win it for my 9 year old daughter. She loves to read, it would make her crazy happy 🙂

    • @ShelleyDonohue That is a perfect age to have one, my 8 year old just loves his.

  • matthewbourns

My wife was given one for Christmas and I love it, so this would be for me, so she doesn’t have to share hers. It also mean I wouldn’t have carry my books to work in a bag they would fit nicely in my coat pocket now.

    • @matthewbourns Good luck to you, thanks for entering.

  • janesteen

I’d like this baby for myself, to make the most of my Amazon Prime subscription. Love that case.

    • @janesteen It is a cool case no doubt, out of all the cases I tested for Kindle Fire, this one is top notch and the best $20 case I have seen by far.

  • Evs

I hope to win this for my daughter. It’s been such a difficult time getting her interested in reading as a recreational pastime. One day with a borrowed Kindle and she was hooked…

    • @Evs The interactive books/games really make it great. Some of the games have lot’s of reading components too.

      • Evs

@Dragon Blogger Those are great points as well. I’m just loving that something has finally made her more passionate about reading.

  • I love to join this contest its a great offer….

  • Ane

I joined! And I am hoping to win.. 😛

  • Ane

I want to win the kindle fire for.. MYSELF! 😛 Because I deserve something so nice plus I really love reading books and reading my e-books on my tiny phone is getting harder.. 😛

    • @Ane I know, ever since I got a tablet I can’t read news on my blackberry anymore, the 2.5″ screen is just too small.

  • very nice information. Thank you for sharing

  • very nice post

  • adkaufman

I’d love to win it for myself. It would make life easy,

  • Danelle

I would love to win this for a dear friend who is currently on his way home and back to his family from Afghanistan…..it is one of things he talks about wanting most when he gets home, and I think it would be amazing to just hand one to him and say wish granted!

  • FYI, I updated the Terms and Conditions of the contest. International folks now have the additional option that I will pay them the $199 value of the Kindle Fire via Paypal if they prefer instead of shipping the Kindle Fire to someone in the states. I cannot ship the Kindle Fire outside the U.S. due to Amazon app store not working outside of US and Amazon not shipping Kindle Fire outside of U.S.

  • frostyone

I would love to win in for myself, although I’m sure my hubby & kids would “borrow” it. I’d love it for reading books, but also to have the recipes stored on my PC on something portable because our PC is not in the kitchen. Thanks so much for the giveaway!

    • @frostyone Glad to, keep in touch. I plan on giving away a lot of tech stuff this year and starting Monday next week I will be giving away a video game of readers choice for any console or PC!

  • Jennifer

I want to win for myself. Having a way to read all my ebooks without having to drag my laptop around would make my year! I have tons of ebooks in various formats, most of which I know the orginial Kindles support. I also know there are converters, so I could have all my books in a much smaller device which means I can catch up on all my reading 🙂 Plus having the other capabilities of the Fire would be a huge plus…and books and magazine and…ooh yeah 🙂

    • I just spent the last 1/2 hour helping my 5 year old fend off an attack from his older brother in Little Empire on the Kindle Fire.

    • I just spent the last 1/2 hour helping my 5 year old fend off an attack from his older brother in Little Empire on the Kindle Fire.

  • DwayneReaves

I want to win it for me and my daughter. That way we don’t have to fight over the ipod touch all the time lol

    • @DwayneReaves After using a tablet, I just can’t play games anymore on my iPod touch, the screen is just too small.

    • @DwayneReaves After using a tablet, I just can’t play games anymore on my iPod touch, the screen is just too small.

  • ChristineHellewellJensen

OOh, I so want to win one of these! We have an iPad, but hubby takes it everywhere and I don’t get the use of it all that often 🙁

    • @ChristineHellewellJensen My kids were using my iPad so much I never got to use it, so now that I got them Kindle Fire’s I have my iPad back.

      • ChristineHellewellJensen

@Dragon Blogger My kids use our iPad whenever they can too!

  • Julie Cates Wallace

My young teacher/daughter gave me one as a gift! Otherwise….it would have been setting in the recieving dept. a long time. My mother is 71 and wanted an Ipad, needless to say, she recieved a GPS. I would love to win one for her. I know we all want to win! So the best of luck to us all!

  • Contest now reached 3050 entries and exceeded my last Kindle Fire Giveaway!

    • @Julie Cates Wallace My 60 year old Mother in Law loves her Kindle Fire and adapted to it very quickly, there is an advantage that it isn’t a full Android OS, the greatly simplified OS is really good for younger kids and older folks and easier to use.

      • Julie Cates Wallace

        @Dragon Blogger

My plan is to have one for my mother by her June b-day. As you, I believe she will do well with it, my only fear is she will stop riding her bycycle. lol The children in my daughters 5th grade class are doing very well with Kindle Fire.

  • kelleyJohnsen

I love this case! While I would love to win and keep for myself………I am a room parent for my sons 4th grade class and for teacher appreciation I am to put together a basket for her. She is a huge reader and has mentioned how much she would love to get a kindle like mine. I don’t know any better way for saying thank you to an amazing teacher that has really helped my son grown this year than with a Kindle! Thank you for the opportunity to win this great giveaway for an amazing person!

    kelleynutrition at gmail dot com

    • @kelleyJohnsen Good luck, what a wonderful gift for your teacher if you win.

      • kelleyJohnsen

@Dragon Blogger Thank you! I think that teachers give so much in educating our children. They make an average of 30, 000 a year but they are responsible for making sure our children learn all areas of math, reading, and writing to be successful. I think about how much time my children are in school and it is like have a second set of parents. I have seen of many parents assume that teachers do this as a job, really it is a passion. As teacher appreciation was drawing closer I decided to make a basket for her of some of her favorite authors, teas, and such. What a neat and amazing way to say thank you than with a wonderful product like the kindle fire. I had my hands on my friends yesterday and loved the upgraded features. I am excited and grateful for a chance to win this for her.

        • @kelleyJohnsen I agree, teachers are underpaid and shape so much in our children’s development, learning and how they even approach learning. The truly fantastic teachers should be more rewarded and more money should be invested into educating our youth and make teaching a more enticing and rewarding career. You don’t want people to become teachers only for the pay, but you also want to make sure they are well rewarded for doing a good job with the kids (not just by testing the crap out of them to make sure they meet AIM scores/standards) but instill the love of learning and value of it.

  • nikkilugi

Great Giveaway. I have my fingers crossed. I would love this 🙂

  • Yatharth Jain

i want this for my mother. she loves reading books and wants a kindle

    • @Yatharth Jain Many people want to win one for a parent, it is well suited. Good luck.

  • Amelia

I would love to win this for my Mom, she is no longer allowed to work due to her health but loves to read. She was also recently diagnosed and underwent surgery for breast cancer and like me, is constantly reading up on all the diets and medical info for cancer. I was going to give her my Kindle to occupy her time but the Fire would be awesome for her so I’ll keep my fingers crossed! Good luck to all!

    • @Amelia Good luck to you and wish her a speedy recovery.

      • Amelia

@Dragon [email protected] Thank you 🙂 She is a strong woman and makes me so proud!

  • Got a flash cash of $100 going on now @Dragon Blogger http://113tidbits.com/50-friday-flash-giveaway/11340/

  • First of all thank you so much for organizing such a great contest and mainly for make it available to participate other than U.S people. it feels so great to be a part of this contest. Hope to win it and completed all the steps except the YouTube video and that to i will complete ASAP.

All the best to other participates and Good Luck for the future.

    • @Jeet Dholakia Thanks, figured now that I updated to give cash value to contestants who entered Internationally it would grab more entries. Not as cool as giving you the Kindle Fire, but unfortunately until Amazon opens it up and the Amazon Android App store Internationally my hands are tied.

      • @Dragon Blogger Ya i know sir that amazon thing. ya that would be great if we here in india can also get this Kindle Fire but the credit goes to you that you have provided the other option to pay up in terms of dollars and that will be great boost and the contest entries will also increases.

  • DouglasDeMott

If I won a Kindle Fire, I would use it to watch movies and read books. Thank you for having this giveaway and giving me a chance to win!

    • @DouglasDeMott Good luck to you, thanks for entering.

  • lyndalippin

I have an iPad2, and hubby would love something like it, but easier to navigate and work with. He loves his Kindle and this way he would also have access to videos and games. And really, I would love to play with it too!

    • @lyndalippin My wife and I both have iPad 2 tablets, but we bought Kindle Fire’s for my kids and mother in law and my 5 year old calls his Kindle Fire his iPad. He used my iPad 2 for 6 months and he has 0 complaints about his Kindle Fire, totally comparable to him.

      • lyndalippin

@Dragon Blogger That’s exactly my sense of it, so I am excited at the chances to win one and see what the Fire can do! Thanks.

  • The Comics app is awesome for Kindle Fire and my kids got some free Captain America comics this week.

  • christine7099

I’d like to win this for my whole family to use! Cool prize!

    • @christine7099 Glad you like the contest prize, good luck.

  • fancythecat

Hello, I want to enter to win this for my daughter who is really getting into using the newer type of things.

My daughter would use this all the time. She is 33 years old and would use it to read books with. She speed

reads and this would be fantastic for her as she has too many books to carry around. I have a niece who

writes books and she would be able to read her books on the kindle. She would also be able to play games.

I am not kidding when I say she reads the most books of anyone I know of. The library is too small for her

now, she needs a Kindle real bad. She has a library that is over 3000 books and no room to put anymore.

    • @fancythecat Sounds like a kindle would be ideal for her. I was 33 when I got my first tablet.

  • dontecrawford

Thanks for the chance to win!

  • boricuamami29

Great giveaway. I had trouble writing down my information like my twitter name so hopefully it counts.

  • Tialisa1

I so want to win this so I can carry this with me when I take my mother to her Dr. appts. I can only read so many old magazines that have been handled by sick people. 🙁

  • DorothyHubbard

I would be wanting to take the paypal option.

    • @DorothyHubbard As a tech blogger I want to giveaway gadgets as a priority, cooler to say I gave away a Kindle Fire than just cash. The cash payment is only for International contestants who I can’t ship the Kindle Fire to, I wish I could have sent e Kindle Fire instead.

  • graywolfpack

  • Is there any way to do an isbn search on the kindle interface (non-browser)?

    • I checked the Kindle Fire you can do an ASIN search in the App store (not silk) but you can’t do it to search for apps/books locally on the device. You also can’t search for ISBN# but product name or ASIN to find the product.

  • @Rahul Roy What do you mean for your blog?

    • @Dragon [email protected] means publishing a blog post right from kindle fire using blogger app

  • @Ritchie Good luck, I am sure she would love it if you win.

  • @Ritchie Good luck, I am sure she would love it if you win.

  • profstone

I found out about this blog when I was trying to set up a Kindle 3 account for my daughter only to learn that she could not purchase using her Amazon gift cards without a credit card number.

I got myself a Kindle Keyboard and have found that I am using it all the time and finding more and more that I would love to have these readers for my students (I teach under-served children of poverty in an urban high school).

I would love to have a Kindle Fire to see what I can do to develop possible educational delivery options to these kids; it would be awesome to have a reader that I could run online learning apps / objects while still locking down their access to other web-based (and often emotional drama inducing) resources. Heck, I will even give you and the blog credit if I am able to pull this off and get published.

    • @profstone The Kindle Fire is awesome, but there is no way to lock down the browser easily so kids can’t access it. Kid’s Place is the best app for restricting the Kindle Fire to only allowing access to specific apps, but limits it too much for kids over 6 and you can bypass by just turning it off and on. I agree though there should be parental control apps, a browser lock to white list sites (amazon would always allow their own site or defeats the purpose). But also perhaps a parental monitor that tracks history, social conversations…etc.

  • Marilyn654

    would love a kindle

  • Marilyn654

    nice contest

  • PudgyPanda3

    nice contest!

    • @PudgyPanda3 Thanks, we plan on giving away tons of cool stuff here and as my tech blog grows bigger my budget for giveaways grows as well as my pool of sponsors.

  • GrrGrrr

    Thanks for the givveaway.

May be I’m the lucky reader this time..

    Grr

  • It certainly will provide entertainment, there are some good educational apps too.

  • JuliaKupas

My husband and I are both taking online courses. The Kindle would me my “study books”, as our hard copies are outgrowing our small home!! thank you for the giveaway, this would be such a blessing. Julia

    • Who needs all those study books, Kindle allows you to rent textbooks which is great. I personally hating having a backpack stuffed with heavy books.

  • Brian Massey

I am a minister and would like to have all of my study material on one thing and not have so much shelf space taken up. Thanks Brian Massey

    • @Brian Massey Good luck to you, consolidating many books into digital copies is one great feature of the Fire.

  • graywolfpack

    tweeted https://twitter.com/#!/graywolfpack/status/159414740051955712

    [email protected]

    • @graywolfpack Thanks, you don’t need to record it here as a comment but in the Rafflecopter widget for it to count as an entry.

  • CindyHolickProctor

I hope this is where we need to leave comments – I want to win a Kindle Fire because my eyes aren’t as they used to be and I just need more light and larger print. It’s been hard to enjoy reading these past few years and going back to college has been a challenge as well.

    • @CindyHolickProctor You are in the right place to leave a comment, good luck to you.

  • Chris Sizemore

My wife and I have been married for a year and a half and we have a son who is 6 months old. She doesn’t ever get anything for herself or do anything for herself. She loves to read when she has the time and she saw a Kindle Fire on the television and I saw her eyes light up. I would love this to be a first “married” Valentines Day present since we don’t really have the money for anything other than diapers, formula, etc.

  • Amazon Kindle Fire is an awsome android table. I want to get it anyone here would like to.

  • Voted !! https://twitter.com/#!/tonygreene113/status/159660389418795009

    • @tonygreene113 Thanks, I see the tweet and it shows up in my profile so is fairly easy to validate. Wondering if I can make the top 10 in blogger category.

  • There were several new entry methods added in the past 2 weeks, make sure you collected all entries possible to increase your odds of winning folks. Only 13 days left until I pick a winner!

  • I still say this was my favorite video so far for the contest http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=TXrFwI-ncSU

  • Susan

I would love to win this for myself. I love to read and would but with chronic pain it is hard to hold some books, this would be great.

  • ravi kant

i would like to win this kindle because i am an avid reader and love the kindle but can not afford it. Hope god will listen to my pray and help me win. Thanks

  • Good luck to you, the Kindle Fire is comfortable to hold and can easily be propped on a table or lap pillow for reading too.

  • shondaet

I would like a kindle fire for myself so I can read stuff and not be on the computer! I would share it with my family.

    • @shondaet Thanks and good luck to you, it does make reading on the go more convenient.

  • MelissaBarrCampbell

I would like to win a Kindle Fire for my sister, Susan, who really wants one. She does everything for everybody and deserves to win. At present, she doesn’t have a job, and this would uplift her spirits greatly to be a winner. Thank you!!

    • @MelissaBarrCampbell Good luck, this would certainly make her day.

  • Don’t forget, new entry option gives you 5 entries for nominating me for a Shorty Award on Twitter. This is like 5 days of retweets in 1 entry.

  • MilxsonSilva

I am lover of technology and really want to win a recent model ofKindle Fire.

    • @MilxsonSilva It is a fun gadget, and I am on it as much as my own iPad 2

  • LiveLoveLaugh

dear Dragon Blogger i would like to win a kindle fire because i love e-readers!i like to read alot and we are able to read them in school.like everyone at school makes fun of the kids who dont have kindles and calls them poor.

Also my birthday was in january and i didnt really get anything so it was a sad birthday.so if i was picked as a winner i would love that and you forever.

    • @LiveLoveLaugh Good luck to you, I don’t pick the winner directly, it is a random draw using a random.org process. So more entries = better odds, but hey long shots have a chance. If you don’t win, stay tuned I have a video game giveaway kicking off on Monday and eve more contests coming in the next months.

  • PriyankaBhowmick

I want the Kindle Fire because it’s one of the inventions of the latest technology. I would love to share it with my husband.

    • @PriyankaBhowmick Good luck to you, it is a fantastic tablet and I downloaded 2 new games for my kids this morning on it.

  • dontecrawford

I need a Kindle fire bad, because i dont have my own computer or tablet,Plus i love to read blogs like yours of course The master tech.

    • @dontecrawford Don’t have a computer or tablet, how are you commenting on the site with a mobile phone? Or someone else’s computer?

      • dontecrawford

        @Dragon Blogger

I’m using my kids mothers computer, when i’m over!

  • dontecrawford

    I really need this Dragonblogger!

  • meganlawing

I wanna win!!!!! PLEASE LET ME WIN!!!!

    • @meganlawing Good luck to you and thanks for entering.

  • sphariss

I would love a Kindle Fire to be able to read books and keep up with my Social Media feeds.

    • @sphariss Good luck to you, reading is what it does best. The larger screen makes it easier to post to Facebook and Twitter than with a smaller phone screen too.

  • I love Dragonblogger Justin. He is sweet, helpful, totally engaging, and did I say HELPFUL? He knows more than I will ever know and he’s so into helping people. These giveaways are icing on the cake. I’ve told @Stephenph and others about @Dragonblogger. I want a Kindle Fire

  • @stephenph Thanks for the super kind words, I just enjoy sharing information and helping others. I have been helping customers with computer/technical problems for 16+ years even though I am not in direct customer support anymore, my blog is my outlet for sharing tech information and helping others.

  • Michele Mattox Chambers

This is my first time to your web site and posting. So far, I like what I see and will be visiting this site more often. If I were the next winner of the Kindle Fire, I would give it to my sister @ Barbara. For the past 4-5 years, her journey through life has been real rough. Right now she’s going through Radiation Treatment. While receiving the treatments. she needs something to pass the time. This Kindle Fire will help. One, because she is a avid read. Always has been as. I use to envy her being able to become so engrossed with her book, that she would finish it within a day. Two, her profession is music performance. She can download all the music she wants onto the K-Fire. Three, being the organized person that she is and because the k-fire is the right size for her to carry in her purse or a tote bag, she can download one of the many calendar’s to help her keep up with her busy schedule. Four, I would give it to her because she deserves some happiness and something to make her smile. I know she would enjoy having the Kindle Fire in her life.

  • Jessica Hurliman

I’d like it for myself and my boyfriend. 🙂 We share a computer right now and it would be nice for us both to have something to do while the other is using it/away. Plus, I’d like to Netflix & read in the car on long rides. ^_^

  • I really impressed with this giveaway.. lets try my luck

  • viveknath322

    great giveaway. .

  • GauthamMT

everybody tries the luck, and I too.I like the way you do works, really impressive.

    • @GauthamMT Thanks, this one since I had the cash to buy the Kindle Fire instead of Amazon credit I was able to open it up Internationally and just pay an International winner the cash value. It isn’t as cool as giving them a Kindle Fire but who would turn down $199 if they won?

  • I would love to have a Kindle Fire for myself as a writer who is about to publish his first ebook, and who would love to be able to see it on his new Kindle once that occurs. Thank you for the opportunity to create a new possibility in my life.

    Bauke Kamstra (twitter: wyrde)

  • Pradeep

i hope i can win the this contest

  • Good luck, and good luck to her in her treatment. If you don’t win, I am still giving away more tablets in the months ahead so stay tuned.

  • Read in the car is fine, Netflix won’t work due to no 3G, but you can always rip a DVD and convert it to MP4 to watch in the car. Using it for casual internet activities, gaming and social media while a computer is tied up is a great feature.

  • wyrde) Good luck to you, I agree e-Book publishes should have a Kindle or Kindle Fire so they know how their books present and come out. KF8 interactive books are also going to be amazing and go beyond simple text reading.

  • Good luck to you, thanks for entering.

  • 10 days left in the contest, remember to get your 5 extra entries for doing the Shorty Award vote.

  • Wyrde

@dragonblogger Thank you for your reply to my comment, “Wrong Touch” was a bad day, wasn’t it?

    • dragonblogger

@wyrde My poems generally aren’t based on events that happen in my life, Wrong Touch was a poem written based on random words.

      • Wyrde

@dragonblogger Please link me a poem that you do ascribe meaning to!

        • dragonblogger

@wyrde They all have meaning, but I am able to write sad poems when I am happy and happy poems when I am sad.

        • dragonblogger

@wyrde Here is a personal poem, dedicated to my son on his 6th birthday http://t.co/nH4DXoZ5

        • Wyrde

@dragonblogger I’m sorry, I did not mean to suggest that your poems did not have meaning.

        • Wyrde

@dragonblogger just looking for one inspired by something in your life, and this one qualifies, you obviously love your son.

        • dragonblogger

@wyrde I saw your point you wanted to see which ones were inspired by personal events and such, I could show others http://t.co/x2r3CfSj

  • Dragonblogger

Only 10 days left in the contest too!

I really need this win DragonBlogger!

VOTE FOR DRAGONBLOGGER AT SHORTY AWARDS!

  • Very cool idea Jusin! I wish I read that you were giving away free kindles on December 15. I wouldn’t have had to as for one for Christmas.

  • If I win, it’s going to be a sign that it is my year. Plus, it would be the fanciest gadget that I’m ever gonna own. I am a student so it would be very useful and more handy than my heavy books. 🙂

    • @Jill Gee Good luck to you, the Kindle Fire is pretty great and new developers are signing on every day to produce apps for it.

  • JohnLoganDowns

My friend recommended the kindle fire to me. My only computer is falling apart and i need something new. the warranty expired on it. on top of all of that, I’M BROKE… please, out of the goodness of your heart… let me win… :'(

  • JohnLoganDowns

My only computer is falling apart. i NEED something new and the warranty on my present computer expired months ago. on top of all of that, I haven’t got the money to buy a new one… please, out of the goodness of your heart… let me win this… :'(

    • @JohnLoganDowns The Kindle Fire is a great eBook reader, social media updater, mini-game app device, but it is no laptop or PC replacement.

  • Yeah, I gave away 2 on December 15th and it was such a big hit I had to do another giveaway.

  • No1treesmkr

I’d like to win this for the mother of my child.

  • Good luck to you, I am sure she would love it.

  • dontecrawford

The Kindle sounds like the perfect prize to win,And i sure do need it DragonBlogger! Thanks again for the chance to win! Maybe i’ll finally have my own, instead of always using others!

  • dontecrawford

    I’m keeping the faith!

  • dontecrawford

If i win,I’m gonna start my own blog on the socialmedia telling everyone about the Kindle fire and how good it is!

  • PennyLavergneAndrus

I could use the Kindle fire as I travel a lot with my husband do to doctor visits in TN. This would be a great item for traveling as it takes a lot less place to pack than a laptop and books. From all I’ve read it sounds like it would be the perfect thing for me. I read up on the Kindle Fire and like what I’ve read about it. It does all most as much as a tablet can do.

    • @PennyLavergneAndrus Yes it does just about anything other tablets can do minus having no camera.

  • dontecrawford

A perfect gift for a madman! ha! ha!

    • @dontecrawford You certainly are commenting on the contest like one, you know there is only 1 entry for commenting, not 1 entry per comment 😉

  • Benjamin

The new Kindle would be a fantastic gift to give our oldest son on his 14th birthday (Feb 5th). He loves to read, but is so hard on books, we’re thinking a Kindle that can also keep him and his brother busy on road trips would be fantastic! Winning it can make that happen, please choose me!

  • If you win, good chance it will get there by then, good luck to you. It is a random.org draw for winner so the winner is chosen randomly.

  • Don’t forget you can get 5 entries from voting DragonBlogger for a Shorty Award, not very many people chose this option yet and it is an extra 5 entries you can get in 30 seconds.

  • kuroneko_gokou

  • nathan rotunda

I want the kindle fire really bad! I need it to read more!

    • @nathan rotunda I have increased my reading since getting a tablet, but the app distractions don’t help.

  • About 15 people marked they created blog posts but didn’t leave any URL for validation, these entries are invalid. If you didn’t leave a URL to your blog post in Rafflecopter let me know so I can delete your entry and you can resubmit. I sent out emails to many of the folks but few responses.

  • PennyLavergneAndrus

I would dearly love to win the Kindle Fire as stated below I travel with my husband alot for drs appt. in TN and LA. This would be a great help for me to have something that I can carry around with me at all times.

    • @PennyLavergneAndrus Good luck, it certainly does well for travel. If you win you may want to consider also a battery pack like the IMP1000 which can give the Kindle Fire an extra 5-7 hours of constant use making a total of about 15 hours you can use it constantly between charges.

      • PennyLavergneAndrus

        @Dragon Blogger

Thanks for the info that is something I had not consider.

  • JohnLoganDowns

i fully understand that the kindle fire isn’t a computer replacement, but it is a good, portable, wifi accessible, electronic, device that i can take back and forth from place to place so my computer won’t have anymore damage done to it as it has in the last 4 years that i’ve had it. -^_^- hope i win!!!

    • @JohnLoganDowns Good luck, it is a great device. My kids took it to dinner with them last night and it kept them busy while waiting for entrees to be served.

  • KB Accountancy

I like this new tecnology eveone see this use it

  • Thank you, I’m flattered.

  • Are you local here in the States?

  • Reegler

Why do I want to win the Kindle Fire….

    a) Firstly to make me this happy > http://bit.ly/wqkNhm

    b) Secondly to make people this envious when they see it > http://bit.ly/z1lYs1

    c) And finally just to rub it in, those with a Kindle 3G, mine (if I won) would be better than yours… http://bit.ly/zse1DR

    d) Yes, I’m prepared to be hated – Teehee…..

    • @Reegler I like the photo’s, great way to make a point.

      • Reegler

@Dragon Blogger Thanks, I’m hoping I get to put them into practice 😉

  • fsipra90

I hate my nook and kindle fire is the only way to go!

    • @fsipra90 Really, want to share what you don’t like about the Nook? Do you have Nook Tablet or just the eReader?

  • I stopped using smartphones because I wasnt doing something productive so I would like to use Kindle fire as an ebook reader and also for blogging.

  • I stopped using smartphones because I wasnt doing something productive so I would like to use Kindle fire as an ebook reader and also for blogging.

  • PirateBooty

I want to win it so that my kids can use it.

    • @PirateBooty The kids will definitely want to monopolize it.

      • PirateBooty

@Dragon Blogger I wouldn’t doubt that. That’s why I’d have to figure out how they can earn their time on it. Otherwise, they’ll be fighting over it.

        • @PirateBooty For Christmas we considered getting 1 iPad for my kids to split, or a Kindle Fire each. We opted to get them each a Kindle Fire instead and are so glad we made that choice. They really personalized their own and take so much pride. Even my 5 year old never forgets to put it back on the charger when he is done playing it and takes so much pride he keeps wanting to show it off at Show and Tell in school but we won’t let him bring it.

  • Blogger again

    Hi Justin!

Thanks for the cool giveaway! I don’t have a tablet now, so it will be really helpful to have one.

    Thanks!

  • Schmidty

My entries are as “Rust” on rafflecopter. I would love to win this for my son.

    • @Schmidty Good luck to you, how old is your son?

      • Schmidty

@Dragon Blogger Twenty, and really wanting this Kindle. Thanks for asking. 🙂

  • Good luck to you

  • Note, tomorrow is the last day to get the +5 Entries for the Shorty vote. Make sure you do that entry because it will be pulled after tomorrow.

  • EWilliams12

thanks for the contest. You are great to follow on twitter.

  • EWilliams12

I want to win the kindle so I can give it to my girlfriend as a surprise. thanks!

  • MadDogTen

I want to win it for myself because currently I only own a Desktop, meaning I have to be on my computer in my room to assess the internet. Having a Kindle Fire would make it where I can actually go places without being completely disconnected.

    Thanks for the Great Giveaway!

    • @MadDogTen Good luck to you, mobile Internet browsing is a great feature and I use my tablet to casually update online while on the couch.

  • Ann

I would want it for myself but my son and daughter as well. My autistic son loves technology and would love to read his books on a Kindle. My dyslexic daughter would love to listen to her books on a Kindle as well. Myself, anyway I can get my hands on a book, any book, is perfect. I am a readaholic!

  • Sounds like the 3 of you will be taking turns sharing it if you win, good luck to you.

  • rmnypt

I would LOVE to have a Kindle Fire. Between 3 kids and myself there is always a line waiting to use the family computer for games, movies and such (just as there is right now as I’m typing this). 🙂

    • @rmnypt My kids don’t bug me for my iPad since they have their own Kindle Fire’s now.

  • MariaH

I would LOVE to win a Kindle Fire. Thank you for this awesome giveaway!

I would love to win a Kindle Fire. I read everything I can, even shampoo bottles. After a medication in 2003 left me disabled, brain damaged, and often bedridden, I find I have a lot of time on my hands but little access to the library.

    • @JenniferB Terribly sorry to hear about your illness, good luck to you. Sounds like an eReader plus having some apps/games could really help.

  • Good luck, if you win I am sure he will enjoy it.

  • Thanks for entering the contest, good luck.

  • bittripfan

I would love that Kindle fire for reading!

  • JohnLoganDowns

do you HAVE to have a credit card to operate a kindle fire?

  • Gram_Cracker

Thanks for the giveaway. This would be a great prize to win.

  • dontecrawford

DragonBlogger,Just chill i already know you got this Shorty Award locked,I have faith in you!

  • Theresa

First time vistor, thanks for the great post on setting up Amazon one-click using Paypal test credit cards. I was also impressed with the number of your replies to comments; something I don’t see on the blogs I’ve been on. I’ve been on the fence about investing in a Kindle Fire as I already have a perfectly good tablet, but I could always give that one to hubby and keep the KF for me! Thanks for the op!

  • Jenny B

I would love a Kindle Fire. My husband spilled sugar and cream filled coffee on my Kindle, so I would love to replace it with a Fire.

  • Lisa

I got a Kindle Fire for Christmas from my husband…and I love it! So, I’d like to win one for my sister. Her computer is older than dirt, and she recently lost her job..so a Kindle Fire would definitely lift her spirits. 🙂

  • MaryannW

I want a Kindle Fire to use in the classroom … if I can get students to READ, they’ll be better readers. This will certainly be a motivational tool … even better than candy bars! ☺

    • @MaryannW I have seen that tablets are eventually going to replace textbooks in schools, if only there were more of an investment in the education system to make this a reality.

  • potterydeb

I’d love a Kindle Fire for my sons to use. Especially my 12 yr old. He’s very bright but doesn’t like to read! It kills me cause I don’t go ANYWHERE without a book on hand. I’m thinking he might read on a Fire!

    • @potterydeb There are plenty of RPG games that you read and then pick path’s, or actions for your character. This could bridge the entertainment/reading gap if you win one.

  • Sandy Saves

I would like to win this for my mom!

    Facebook name is Sandy Saves.

    sandysaveseveryday AT gmail DOT com

    • @Sandy Saves Good luck to you, thanks for joining the contest.

  • AlexandreAlvesDeAraujo

      • jeet_dholakia

        • dragonbloggers

@jeet_dholakia I have plenty more contests coming too, no less than 2 per month and 2 more coming in February.

        • jeet_dholakia

@dragonbloggers that’s great news if you can I can share it on my freebies and giveaway blog and so excited to participate.

  • It would made presentations for my very young social media management business much easier. Haven’t had the ability to buy an iPad yet and this would make a world of a difference for me.

  • Simone Anderson

I’d like to win this to play games and test games we develop for the Android Appstore.

  • kairotox

My mom has been wanting one for months now, but seeing as how our family isn’t that rich, and i’m without a job right now, I haven’t been able to get one for her. I honestly have no idea what she’ll use it for, but seeing as how she’s a web developer, she’ll probably use it somewhat for work when she’s away from her computer. She also loves to read books, and she has bought quite a few kindle books.

    • @kairotox You are right she probably will find a good use for it, there are tons of apps (over 10k already available).

  • JenniferRote

I’d love to win this for my daughter. She currently uses Kindle for PC.

    • @JenniferRote Cool, the good news is with Whispersync the exact place she is in the book will be the same on Kindle PC or with Kindle Fire book.

  • Joe

Truth be told, I want to win a Kindle Fire just to have it! I have the Kindle, but a Kindle Fire is the IT thing right now!

  • purple_froggy

I would to have a Kindle Fire for myself! I find myself reading on the desktop computer . I can`t just take the computer to the couch to read and do whatever..Ribbit.. purple_froggy

    • @purple_froggy purple_froggy Good luck to you, how come I don’t see you on the Twitter poetry game calls anymore?

      • purple_froggy

        @Dragon Blogger

i don`t have access to the computer hardly much anymore:4 others want to use it to during the day..it sucks!

  • PennyLavergneAndrus

I would dearly love to win the Kindle Fire was it would make a great Birthday coming up in Feb. present to myself. As well as be great to travel with on those road trips to doctors visits with my husband.

    • @PennyLavergneAndrus Good luck, and Happy Early Birthday.

  • Brad A

    I sure hope I win!

  • voylesj

I would like to have the Kindle Fire for my husband who has TBI and is a paraplegic. This would be something he might be interested in having. I have one but I won’t share it. He really needs his own.

I hope that I win it for him.

    • @voylesj Good luck to you in the contest, winner get’s announced on February 1st.

  • RobinMetzner

I would like to win the Kindle Fire for myself.

  • corylee

    I would.like.to.win this for a good friend.off.mine she wants one to.her a.Bible.on.it.and use.ot.for.her church needs

    • @corylee It works for any book purpose, good luck to you and I am sure your friend will love it if you win.

  • Good luck, you can lend each other e-books with it too!

  • Ah really good idea, make sure you work with Amazon to have your games released in the Amazon Android app store as well.

  • It certainly is, good luck. I just read they estimated 6 million Kindle Fire’s sold in Q4 2011.

  • Good luck Brad, remember to get as many entries as possible, only 23 hours left.

  • 22 1/2 hours left before the contest ends and I draw the winner. Make sure to get your final entries in, there weren’t many YouTube Video’s or Blog posts, these are worth a lot of extra entries.

  • liam_jameson

    Holy crap this is AWESOME!

  • mickie

    super excited

  • PennyLavergneAndrus

This is awesome would love to win. Have a great day everyone.

    • @PennyLavergneAndrus Good luck to you, 15 hours left.

  • Wow Dragon, this is awesome! I’d love to win for my son. He’s always been a reader and would seriously love this! He isn’t reading books as much these days, but with a kindle fire, it’d make it easier for him to download and get back to something I think he’s lost a little. Nothing like reading a good book. Nothing. Thanks!

    • @Marian Pearson Stevens Good luck, I am sure he would love it. I won’t like, the games/apps are seriously distracting from the eBooks for kids but many games have reading incorporated into them.

  • 15 hours remaining!

  • ebusinessmom

Hey, you got a nice contest there and kindle are very much useful nowadays. Nice way to start the year right. 😉

  • EvelynBourne

I’d love to win a Kindle Fire for myself! I’m an avid reader, and I’ve got the Kindle app on my phone, but it’s not ideal trying to read a book on a teensy phone screen. . . I devour books, so my kindle will be my constant companion. 😉

Thanks for doing this contest. This is kinda awesome.

    • @EvelynBourne The larger screen makes it much easier to read than on a small smartphone screen for sure.

  • pax

With being disabled it would be great to have a kindle fire. It would be easier on my hands to use the kindle fire instead of my phone.

  • pax

With being disabled, it would be great to have one of these as it would be easier on my hands.

  • Thanks for the chance!

  • My friend would to have that leather case for Kindle Fire!

  • My friend would love to have that leather case for his Kindle Fire.

  • Thanks for entering the contest, good luck.

  • 8 hours left and over 8100 entries!

  • JohnLoganDowns

will there be free shipping? O.o

    • @JohnLoganDowns Yes, I pay for shipping if you live in U.S. If international then I paypal you the cash value of the Kindle Fire instead since Amazon won’t ship it Internationally.

      • JohnLoganDowns

        @Dragon Blogger TNX!!!! ^_^

  • Leslie

I know the chances are very slim, but winning this would be pretty damn awesome. As the physically disabled mom of a neuro-disabled child, there are SO MANY USES for this, educationally, therapeutically, keep-my-sanity-ily, and get-work-done-on-the-go-in-the-scattered-moments-I-have-wherever-I-am-ishly, that it is boggling!

  • JohnLoganDowns

will there be any more if these giveaways?

    • @JohnLoganDowns Yes, I have a video game giveaway going on right now too http://www.dragonblogger.com/video-game-giveaway/ I also plan on giving away an Xbox 360 game console or PS3 haven’t decided which. More Kindle Fire’s will be given away as well in the future. Stay tuned I have 2-3 giveaways per month on this site.

  • Dani2386

I’d love to win the Kindle Fire for my son. He’s more than likely on the autism spectrum with PDD-NOS, and if educational apps on the iPod Touch can add 400+ words to his vocabulary and help him master concepts that he struggled with, I’m pretty sure an e-book reader can add double that if not more.

    • @Dani2386 Yes, there are tons of educational apps for Kindle Fire as well. Good luck to you.

  • Just about 2 1/2 hours left!

  • Good luck to you seriously, the odds are low but somebody has to win and it is random draw.

  • JohnAguiar

    @dragonblogger you just did

    • dragonblogger

@johnaguiar Right, but when I reply to you, your followers don’t see it, only you do and my own tweet stream.

  • SmartBoyDesigns

    @dragonblogger @JohnAguiar all shared

    • dragonblogger

@smartboydesigns Thanks, will send you results of the contest tomorrow after I pick the winner.

      • SmartBoyDesigns

        @dragonblogger awesome!

  • Nasif

Reading ebooks on laptop is very stressful! So, a kindle fire will be great option for me. Hope I will be lucky this time 😀

  • I would totally use this for myself! With a toddler, it’s hard to read actual books because she’s a page ripper 🙂

  • Contest is over, compiling entries and will be picking a winner shortly.

    • PirateBooty

@Dragon Blogger Woo! Go me! Even though I think there are many others who deserve it more than myself. Good luck to everybody.

  • Congrats to Geoff from New Hampshire who is the winner of the Kindle Fire, Case and Screen Protectors.

    • HollyJahangiri

      Congrats, Geoff! Enjoy it!

  • dontecrawford

    I’m keeping the faith!:)
