I will be taking an early lunch break from work today to purchase my copy of Windows 7 Home Edition. I have been planning to purchase it the day it came out for weeks and have saved up my blog earnings to purchase the full $200 retail version. (I failed to convince Microsoft to send me a media license)

I plan on backing up and wiping my hard drive tonight on my home machine and spending the evening building a completely fresh install of Windows 7 and I will be doing quite a few Windows 7 articles over the next few weeks and months as I learn new features, functionality and discover items of interest to share with my readers.

I found it interesting that Microsoft is going to be using The Family Guy to help promo Windows 7 which is an interesting path for promotion.
