TweetMeme 1.7.1 fixes many issues that bloggers were having with Wordpress 2.8.4 where the plug-in was causing errors in the PHP code when activated. Some bloggers were able to find work around solutions by uninstalling and re-installing the Tweetmeme plug-in but this hadn’t fixed the issue for my 3 blogs. Fortunately the new Tweetmeme 1.7.1 plugin fixes all known issues that I have encountered and my TweetMeme button is now back in place.
If only Twittley would fix their plug-in now I would be a happy Wordpress blogger.

I picked a good time to install this plugin, I didn’t need to do the update.

Yes I just exactly did the same. I uninstalled and then reinstalled the plugin on my blog when I had some poky PHP errors. Going forward I will suggest the latest version for perusal.
