I had written two posts plugging MagicJack very thoroughly but yesterday made me want to revoke those posts or at least alter them, I had six calls made with the MagicJack and people reported that I was “breaking up” as I kept trying to speak.  I only tried with my phone (the same one I had been using for weeks) and I should have tried with my USB headset to see if the same problem existed there.  The magicjack.com site is fairly useless except to tell you to use a different USB port, phone and reboot your cable modem or router.

I have done this and just haven’t had much success at getting my MagicJack to work properly today which was a bit frustrating, now before I blame the MagicJack product I have noticed overall problems with internet in tweetdeck, twitter, my page load times, email not working from craigslist and other things.  So it may be I am having just a bad ISP day and it really isn’t the MagicJack that is malfunctioning, like I said out of 100 calls I have only had 3 drops and about 8 now where people have had trouble hearing me, but 6 of those eight were today.

I will report as I continue to have or not have issues so people can get an honest impression on if the product is worth the money.
