Calabasas, California – September 12th, 2018 –  Assetto Corsa Competizione, the new official Blancpain GT Series game, developed by KUNOS Simulazioni and published by 505 Games, is now available on Steam Early Access at a very special price – £22.49.

After the groundbreaking worldwide success of Assetto Corsa, which redefined the standards of the Sim racing genre, the Italian development team KUNOS Simulazioni is ready to deliver to its amazing community the first Early Access version of their latest game.

Assetto Corsa Competizione is born from KUNOS Simulazioni’s long-term experience, and it takes full advantage of Unreal Engine 4, ensuring photorealistic weather conditions and graphics, night races, motion capture animations, reaching a new standard in terms of driving realism and immersion, thanks to its further improved tyre and aerodynamic models.

Thanks to the extraordinary quality of the simulation, the game will allow players to experience the real atmosphere of the FIA GT3 homologated championship, competing with official drivers, teams, cars and circuits, reproduced in-game with the highest level of accuracy ever achieved. Sprint, Endurance and Spa 24 Hours races will come to life with an incredible level of realism, in both single and multiplayer modes.

Starting from today, a series of game updates will be delivered on a monthly basis, introducing new cars and tracks, covering 60% of the total content of the final version (1.0), which is planned to be released in Q1 2019.  The final game will include all cars and tracks of the ongoing Blancpain GT Season and it will also introduce career and championship modes. Furthermore, a free update will be released during the Summer of 2019, introducing the 2019 Season of the Blancpain GT Series Championship

Buying the game within the first 2 updates will allow the most loyal fans to progressively access all contents of Assetto Corsa Competizione at an incredible price £22.49 With the release of further updates, according to the Early Access timetable, accessible from the official website here, the price will be raised to £34.99 with the third update (scheduled for November 14th, 2018) and will finally reach the final price of £44.99 on January 16th2019, which will be also the price for version 1.0.  All those who love the Assetto Corsa license therefore have the possibility, supporting the Early Access program, to collaborate in refining the game and paying almost half of its final price, obtaining the same contents as those who will decide to buy it at a later stage.

Assetto Corsa Competizione will also be present at Nürburgring this weekend (14th -16th of September) for the next round of the Blancpain Championship and the most important event in the world dedicated to sim-racers, the Sim Racing Expo 2018, where it will be playable at the booth shared with Fanatec, leading company in the production of steering wheels, pedals and peripherals specifically designed for sim racers that in this event will present the new products of “Podium” line up.
