Blog Engage at over two years old is probably one of the most established of the article submission directories which help not only get bloggers more exposure and readers to their articles but also pick up a few backlinks as well.  I have been a member of Blog Engage for two years and consider them one of my best networks for find and reading other blogs as well as keeping up with the blogging community.  Many of the best and brightest are members and these are the people all bloggers should follow and know as they provide valuable insight into the online chaos that blogging can sometimes be.

Blog Engage is now featuring their 2nd $500 Guest Blogging contest and encouraging the community of bloggers to get involved.  This is a contest about prestige and it will take leveraging your vast network of peers and readers to help take you to the top so I decided to toss my hat into the ring this time and see if we can bring Dragon Blogger to the top of this next contest.

I am most interested in the contest prizes:

  • First place 250 USD
  • Second Place 150 USD
  • Third place 100 USD

If I do win any of the prizes I will be giving away 1/2 the prize to one of my readers in a contest of my own.

My article is published by the way, go on over and visit Blogging to Forge a Connection with Readers and comment/share to help promote my guest article.

One last thing, in case you didn’t know;

Blog Engage offers an RSS Syndication Service that will automatically feed in your blog posts into the Blog Engage articles directory as well as the following other directories: Blog SerpTop BloggedRSS Leak, Blogger Ink and Blogger Tag.  What this means is for only $1.99 per month you have 1 post per 8 hours auto submitted into 6 article sites, this is gaining 6 backlinks per post and extra exposure for just about $2 per month.  The amount of time it saves is worth it, every blogger should be purchasing a subscription.  Think about how long it takes to manually submit 30 articles to 6 directories (this is 180 submissions) and just about anyone would rather pay $2 to have it automatically done for them.  You literally save at least 1/2 hour each day which is 15 hours of submissions per month, isn’t 15 hours of time saved worth $2?  I have been using the Blog Engage RSS Syndication for about 6 months now and I actually have 4 blogs signed up for it, I use the $9.99 a month plan to have several blogs feed into the directories.
