I hadn’t even had the chance to play around with Google Chrome extensions lately and when I was browsing BlogEngage I came across an article on Last Place On The Net titled Top 10 Google Chrome Extensions Live and just had to read the article to see what extensions were this authors favorite.
I was surprised to see that most of the top 10 extensions listed are among my top FireFox extensions and it made sense that they exist on Google Chrome now as well. These included StumbleUpon, Flashblock, Bit.Ly, and an Auto HD for YouTube extension.
By visiting the website I quickly decided to add about 5 of the 10 extensions in a matter of seconds and my Google Chrome is souped up a bit more thanks to the authors list.
If you haven’t had a chance to check out Google Chrome Extensions yet, these are “Add On” equivalents for Google Chrome which increase the browsers functionality and feature set. From all my testing so far the ones that I have downloaded cause no perceivable negative impact on browsing speed or Google Chrome load times.
