Top 5 High-End Smartphones In The World Right Now

Believe it or not, we’re more than have way through 2014. In a few more months the year would be over and we’ll all begin debating over the next batch of Smartphones. So, whats a better time to compare smartphones and pit them against each other than now? Without further ado, here are the Top 5 phones of this year, up till now.

5. Google Nexus 5

The Nexus 5 is one of the best phones for the price of $400. You can get a high end smartphone experience in a mid-end priced phone. Google paired up with LG to produce this gorgeous phone in late 2013. Not to mention that you’re going to get the very latest Android experience as soon as Google releases it, instead of waiting for your manufacturer to modify it and release it for your specific phone model, if they ever decide to do it.

4. Apple iPhone 5s

The iPhone 5s is the latest flagship from Apple. One of the biggest new features added in the 5s was the Touch ID fingerprint scanner, in the Home Button. The phone features only 1GB of RAM, which may seem low when compared with the other Smartphones on this list but iOS’s extreme optimization make the phone run buttery smooth. The only reason the iPhone is on the 4th spot on our list is its small screen and high price tag ()

3. Samsung Galaxy S5

Samsung, being the largest Smartphone manufacturer in the world, delivered yet another Flagship this year. Though, maybe it was the repeated design, or something else, which lead to the phone not ‘breaking’ expectations. It wasn’t a failure in any way either. the Samsung Galaxy S5 contains an improved camera, processor, RAM and is waterproof. It does have a new textured design, though it is still not a complete re-design, which was a disappointment to some users. Samsung has finally managed to make the TouchWiz UI much more fluid and responsive than it previously was which is a major plus point.

2. HTC ONE M8

The M8 has got a great design, impressive specs, a decent price tag, above average battery life and a modest build quality. HTC reinvented the M8 from its predecessor, the M7. Everything now runs much more smoothly and quickly thanks to the new processor. The Megapixel count wasn’t raised as expected but that just makes the shutter faster, than it would’ve been.

Notable Mention

We couldn’t leave out these bad boys, even though they have a smaller market share as compared to the other giants on this list,

Nokia Lumia 930

Sony Xperia Z2

1. LG G3

The LG G3 takes the 1st position on our list because of its huge list of features, its quality and its super impressive display. In fact, the G3 has the world’s sharpest smartphone screen. It ships with Android 4.4 Kitkat and it uses laser based auto focusing. There was no doubt in my mind that LG and the G3 deserved this spot.

We hope, you found your favorite smartphone among these. Do you own any of these phone models, what convinced you to buy it and how do you like it?
