Apple Music is a music and video streaming service developed by Apple with access to over 60 million songs. It is one of the fastest-growing music streaming services with over 60 million subscribers. Apple Music is available on iTunes, iOS and Android devices and Apple Music subscribers can enjoy an ad-free music experience on their devices by paying a small subscription fee. Users can also download their favourite songs for offline play through the Apple Music application. But what if you want to listen to your music on devices that don’t support Apple Music such as iPod shuffle, MP3 player, CD, USB flash drive etc? Well, due to DRM protection, you are only able to listen to Apple Music tracks on devices that support Apple Music. How to convert Apple Music tracks with UkeySoft Apple Music Converter
UkeySoft Apple Music Converter is quite easy to use. Before we get to the conversion process, the first thing that we need to do is to install the software. The software is available for both Windows and Mac and can be purchased from here. If you are curious about the legitimacy of the software, you can try out the free version of the software before purchasing it. Along with the music converter software, make sure that iTunes is installed on your computer for the software to work.
Adding Apple Music Tracks for Conversion
As soon as you launch the music converter software, it will automatically launch iTunes in the background. The software will then scan all the tracks from your iTunes library and show it in the UkeySoft Apple Music Converter application. The layout of the software is similar to iTunes. You can see all of your playlists on the left just like iTunes so that all of your tracks are sorted properly. If some of your newly added tracks aren’t showing in the library, then click on the Refresh icon on the top left and the track will be added. To add a track for conversion, select the song and then click on the checkbox on the left. If you are having trouble finding a track, simply type the track name in the search bar. To add a whole playlist, simply select the playlist and then click on the first checkbox on the top to add all of the tracks.
Changing the Output Settings
After adding the tracks for conversion, we move over to the Output Settings. Here you can change the output format, bitrate, sample rate, and the channel of the track. UkeySoft Apple Music Converter lets us choose from over 8 different output formats which are MP3, M4A, AC3, AAC, AIFF, AU, FLAC, WAV. The profile tab is an easy way to set the audio quality of the track from low to medium to high quality. It will automatically set the bitrate and sample rate accordingly.
Click on the Options icon on the top left to open the Preferences menu. Here, you can increase the audio of the track to up to 200%. This is very helpful if the default audio of the track is low. You can also set the audio conversion speed to up to 16x. Increasing the conversion speed will also put a load on your computer so increase it depending on your computer specifications.
Converting The Tracks
Once the tracks are selected and the output settings have been changed, the final step is to convert them. Click on the Convert icon on the top left to start the process. A new window will open where you can track the conversion progress. The status of each track can be tracked as well. The converted tracks can be opened by clicking on “Open Output File”. All of my tracks were converted in 16x speed and all of my songs were converted within minutes. 16x conversion speed is only available for the Windows version while the Mac can only convert the tracks at 1x speed.
Note: The trial version of the software only allows the user to convert the first 3 minutes of the track.
UkeySoft Apple Music Converter is an amazing software that lets us remove DRM protection from Apple Music track. Removing DRM protection allows the user to transfer the tracks to devices that don’t support Apple Music such as CDs, flash drives, MP3 players and more. The software is available for both Windows and Mac and is priced at a reasonable price of $39.95. The software works very well and I highly recommend Apple Music users to give it a try.
