Spotify is currently the most popular music streaming service with over 271 million users out of which 124 million are premium subscribers. Spotify has a collection of more than 50 million songs for their listeners to enjoy. While free users can listen to their music for free on Spotify with a couple of ads here and there, the premium subscribers can enjoy an ad-free experience while being able to download their favourite music on the Spotify app for offline play. But offline music streaming is only limited to the Spotify application. Due to DRM restrictions, it is impossible to transfer Spotify tracks to devices that don’t support Spotify. This means that the user won’t be able to copy their Spotify tracks to a USB flash drive, CD, iPod, MP3 player etc. This is where UkeySoft Spotify Music Converter comes in. UkeySoft Spotify Music Converter removes DRM protection from Spotify tracks and lets us download Spotify music to MP3. Let’s find out more about the software in detail.

Steps to Convert Spotify tracks to MP3 with UkeySoft Spotify Music Converter
The first step is to download and install the UkeySoft Spotify Music Converter software. The software is available for both Windows and Mac and can be purchased from here. For demonstration purposes, we will be reviewing the Windows version of the software, but the Mac version will more or less be the same. If you are sceptical whether the software actually works or not, you can try out the free version of the software. The free version is just an evaluation copy and can only convert the first 3 minutes of the track.
The second step is to add the tracks that you want to convert. Once you launch the application, it will automatically start Spotify if it is installed on your computer. Now there are two ways in which you can add a Spotify track. The first method is to directly drag and drop the track or playlist from Spotify on to the music converter. The second method is to copy the song or the playlist link and copy it into the search bar and click the ‘+‘ icon. Then click on Add to add the selected track.
The third step is to change the output preferences of the track. To do that, click on Options represented by the gear icon. The General tab lets us change the output folder. The output folder is where the converted files will be located. You can choose whether you want to keep the TrackID of the converted tracks by clicking on the checkbox. You can also sort your converted tracks into different folders. If English is not your preferred language, then you can choose from 6 other languages as well.
The Advanced tab lets us change the audio parameters of the track. The audio of the track can be increased to up to 200% by shifting the volume slider. UkeySoft Spotify Music Converter allows us to change the audio format of the track to 4 different codecs which are MP3, M4A, WAV, and FLAC. You can also change the Sample Rate and Bit Rate of the track to get the best audio quality possible. The conversion speed can be switched from 1x to 5x. 5x conversion puts a slight toll on your computer, so if your computer isn’t powerful enough, then it is advisable to keep the conversion speed at 1x.
The fourth and final step is to convert the tracks. So once the tracks have been added and the output preferences have been set, click on Convert. The software will start converting the files and the progress percentage can be tracked right next to the track name.
To view the converted tracks, click on History. The History menu will show all of the converted tracks. To open the location of a particular track, click on the blue folder icon.
Overall, UkeySoft Spotify Music Converter is a good choice for Spotify users who are looking to remove DRM protection from Spotify tracks and transfer them over to devices such as MP3 players, CD, and USB flash drives for offline play. The software has an easy to use user interface. The software is priced at $39.95 for a single PC/Mac lifetime license which is quite a reasonable price.
