Spotify is one of the most popular music streaming services. You can listen to your favourite music or podcast on Spotify online on your phone, browser and on your computer. You can even download them on your device and listen to them offline if you are a Spotify Premium subscriber. But one of the downfalls is that you can only stream them on the Spotify application as the files are DRM protected, which means you can’t burn the files on a CD or copy them on your flash drive. But thanks to Spotify converters, we can convert Spotify music to MP3 easily. In this article, we will be reviewing the TuneFab Spotify Music Converter software.
TuneFab Spotify Music Converter Features
- Convert Spotify Podcasts, Albums, Playlists to MP3/M4A/WAV/FLAC format.

- 5X Conversion Speed lets you convert your Spotify Music quickly while preserving 100% lossless audio quality.

- Download Spotify tracks individually or whole playlists in batches.
How To Convert Spotify Tracks with the TuneFab Spotify Music Converter
Converting Spotify tracks is a very simple process. The first step is to download and install TuneFab Spotify Music Converter. The software is available for both Windows and Mac. You can purchase the software from here. For this review, we will be taking a look at the Windows version but both versions should be almost identical.
Adding Spotify Tracks
After installing the software, the next step is to add the Spotify tracks that you want to convert. After launching the TuneFab Spotify Music Converter, it will start up the Spotify application. To add tracks, the simplest way would be to drag and drop the track on the TuneFab interface. The second method to add Spotify tracks is to click on Add Files and then to copy the Spotify track link and paste it onto the search bar of the TuneFab interface and then click on the “+” icon.
Setting Output Preferences
Once the desired tracks are added, the next step is to check out the output settings. To do that, click on the Options menu which is represented by the gear icon. Under the General tab, you will be able to change the general settings like the location of the save file on your desktop. You can choose whether you want to keep the TrackID of the Spotify track or not. If English is not your first language, then you can choose from 6 other languages which are Japanese, Dutch, Spanish, Traditional Chinese, Simplified Chinese and French.
Under the Advanced tab is where you will find the audio preferences. If the audio of the track is too low or too high for your preference on the Spotify app, you can increase or decrease the volume using the volume slider. The conversion speed is nothing but how fast the software will convert the Spotify track. Apart from the standard MP3 format, you can also convert your audio to M4A, FLAC, and WAV. Finally, we have the option to change the Sample Rate and the Bitrate of the track. For the best audio experience, we would recommend keeping a sample rate of 44100hz and a bitrate of 320kbps.
Converting the Spotify Tracks
Now that you are done adding the tracks and setting up the output preferences, simply click on Convert to start converting the Spotify tracks. You can view the progress status on the right.
Once all the files are converted, click on History to view them. To view the converted tracks in the output folder, click on the blue folder icon.
Note: If you are using the trial version of the software, then you can only convert the first three minutes of the Spotify track.
Verdict
TuneFab Spotify Music Converter is an excellent software that helps you convert DRM protected Spotify tracks to MP3 or other audio formats of your preference. With this, you can enjoy your songs/podcasts on any device anywhere without the restrictions of using Spotify.
