Today on Dragon Blogger we bring you a quick review of the Anker Nano 3 wall charger, one of the most popular and best-selling options out there. Anker has definitely become a very reliable brand. One of the best things about Anker is that its wall chargers are highly compatible with most phones, including iPhone, Samsung, Google Pixel, and iPad.

The main highlight of this wall charger is that, unlike conventional models, it’s much more portable. To be exact, it’s up to 70% smaller than most original chargers from major brands, which means it fits easily in your pocket and barely takes up any space. Many wall chargers are so bulky that they end up covering two outlets on a power strip.

True Fast-Charging Technology

I recently bought a generic charger advertised as “40W fast charging”, but those 40W were pure fiction because my phone was only pulling around 5W or even less. On the other hand, the Anker Nano 3 uses certified PIQ 3.0, PD, and PPS technologies. Without PPS, no modern phone would accept fast charging for safety reasons, so even if you don’t go with this charger, always make sure that PPS is clearly included.

Of course, the Anker Nano 3 uses a USB-C port, which is the only way to get proper fast charging. USB-A chargers usually top out at around 18W, which isn’t enough to take advantage of fast charging on most modern devices.

As shown in the image, the Anker Nano 3 is significantly more portable than my old wall charger. Not only is it smaller, it’s also much smarter thanks to its certified fast-charging technologies. Its compact design makes it even more convenient if you often need to carry your charger with you. Plus, it has foldable prongs, which is another great feature because it makes it even more portable and prevents the plug from poking you if you carry it in your pocket.

Honestly, I was surprised when I held it for the first time, it’s really small.

How fast can the Anker Nano 3 charge a phone?

This varies because each phone has its own charging system. But to give you some context, an iPhone 16 Pro Max can charge up to 50% in just 45 minutes when using the Anker Nano 3. While a phone may support fast charging up to 30W, it usually only pulls that maximum power when the battery is very low and gradually reduces the charging speed to preserve battery health.

For better compatibility and to guarantee you’re getting the highest power delivery possible, it’s recommended to use a certified Anker cable. Fortunately, the Anker Nano 3 charger can be purchased with a 6-foot (1.82 m) USB-C to USB-C cable, which is exactly what I did when I bought mine.

There’s really not much more to add, it’s a safe, ultra-portable charger capable of delivering up to 30W of fast charging.
