Beijing, China, September 8, 2026 – XERON, a technology brand guided by its “From Origin, Beyond Boundaries” philosophy, has announced the NEX A61 ARGB, a next-generation single-tower CPU air cooler designed to deliver strong thermal performance, quiet operation, broad platform compatibility, and customizable ARGB lighting.
Engineered with modern AMD AM5 processors in mind, the NEX A61 ARGB combines six direct-touch heatpipes, triple-parallel-pipe precision coverage, and a dual-fan push-pull configuration. The cooler is rated for CPUs with a Thermal Design Power (TDP) of up to 250W, making it suitable for high-performance gaming, content creation, and workstation builds.
AM5-Tuned Thermal Architecture
The NEX A61 ARGB has been engineered to address the concentrated heat generated by modern AMD AM5 processors. Its direct-touch heatpipe design places the heatpipes in close contact with the CPU surface to help transfer heat away from the processor efficiently.
Six 6 mm heatpipes are incorporated into the cooler, with XERON using what it calls triple-parallel-pipe precision coverage to improve thermal coverage across the processor contact area.
XERON says the cooler is designed to support demanding flagship processors including the AMD Ryzen 9 9950X3D, Ryzen 7 9800X3D, and Ryzen 7 9850X3D.
Dual Silent Ring-Blade Fans
Cooling is handled by two 120 mm fans arranged in a push-pull configuration. Both fans operate between 800 and 1800 RPM and use full-circumference ring-blade construction.
The reinforced ring design increases blade rigidity while helping reduce vibration and resonance. Fan 1 delivers up to 54.87 CFM of airflow with 1.42 mmAq of air pressure, while Fan 2 reaches up to 55.08 CFM with 1.38 mmAq of static pressure.
According to the detailed specifications, Fan 1 is rated at 27.9 dB(A), while Fan 2 is rated at 30.3 dB(A).
Both fans use hydro bearings and connect through standard 4-pin PWM connectors, allowing compatible motherboards to automatically adjust fan speeds based on CPU temperature.
Full-Spectrum ARGB Lighting
Both cooling fans feature addressable RGB illumination, giving builders the ability to customize the appearance of the NEX A61 ARGB to match the rest of their PC.
The cooler uses a standard 3-pin +5V-D-G ARGB connector and supports motherboard lighting synchronization with compatible platforms from ASUS, MSI, GIGABYTE, ASRock, and other motherboard manufacturers using standard 5V addressable RGB headers.
Each LED system operates at 5V DC with a rated current of 0.25A ±10% and power consumption of approximately 1.25W.
Magnetic Top Cover
XERON has also equipped the NEX A61 ARGB with a magnetic top cover that can be removed without tools.
The design helps conceal the upper portion of the heatsink and heatpipes while giving the cooler a cleaner appearance when installed inside cases with tempered-glass side panels.
Compact Single-Tower Design With RAM Clearance
Despite its cooling capability, the NEX A61 ARGB maintains relatively compact dimensions of 125 × 109 × 152 mm.
Its offset single-tower layout is designed to provide additional clearance around the motherboard’s memory slots, allowing builders to install tall-profile RAM without the compatibility problems that can occur with larger dual-tower CPU coolers.
The 152 mm overall height also makes the cooler compatible with many mid-tower and larger PC cases, although users should verify their case’s maximum CPU cooler clearance before installation.
Broad Intel and AMD Socket Support
The NEX A61 ARGB supports a wide range of current and previous-generation Intel and AMD desktop processor sockets.
Compatible Intel sockets include LGA1851, LGA1700, LGA1200, and the LGA115X family.
AMD support includes both AM5 and AM4 platforms.
This makes the cooler suitable not only for new PC builds but also for users upgrading the cooling system in an existing computer.
