I think many of you will agree, especially those who have to deal with heavy snowfall around their homes, that keeping everything clear of snow can be challenging when you don't have enough free time.

The worst part is that, in many places, snow can accumulate very quickly. So even if you clear everything in the morning, a heavy snowfall overnight can leave you waking up to a thick layer of snow on the ground.

That's why, as technology experts with more than 10 years of experience covering tech products, we set out to find an advanced robot capable of removing snow without requiring you to be there. After searching, we came across the YARBO Y40.

So, if you're interested in getting one, keep reading as I'll go over some of its main features. I should mention upfront, though, that this is a high-end robot, so it's quite expensive. However, it could be worth considering if you want to get rid of snow without all the physical effort.

YARBO Y40 snow removal robot features

One of the main features of this robot is that it can remove snow automatically, without requiring you to go outside and do the work yourself. You can schedule it through its app to start working when snowfall occurs and return to its charging station when the battery drops below 20%.

It can also clear up to 6,000 square feet on a full charge when the snow is approximately 1 inch deep.

Another feature is its ability to remove snow up to 12 inches deep in a single pass, with a clearing width of 24 inches. It's also designed to handle wet snow, although its performance may vary depending on the conditions.

The YARBO Y40 also uses RTK GPS and vision sensors to plan its routes without requiring perimeter wires. It features an obstacle detection system that can identify people, pets, and vehicles, stop when necessary, and resume working once the path is clear.

How long does the YARBO Y40 take to charge?

That's a good question. Charging the robot from 20% to 80% takes around 90 minutes, while a full charge takes approximately 180 minutes.

Warranty: YARBO offers a warranty of up to five years.
