Resident Evil fans rejoice! There is an opportunity to have your voices heard!

Capcom released a Resident Evil survey to gather feedback on a variety of items – remakes included. Let’s take a look at what you can expect.
How long does the survey take?
Overall, I would suggest setting aside at least 10-20 minutes for the survey. That number may vary depending on reading speed, loading/navigation times, length of answers, and additional questions based on your answers.
When does the survey end?
At the time of writing, there is no date specified on when the survey will close. Take advantage of this while it’s available!
Do I get anything for completing the survey?
Generally speaking, no. However, if you are part of the Resident Evil Ambassador Program, this is a chance to earn 10 pts by entering your Ambassador ID in the survey.
What to expect in the survey.
First, there are standard, non-personally identifiable demographic information; includes some questions about your knowledge and interactions with the larger Resident Evil world.
Next are questions about your knowledge and interactions on the Resident Evil portal, social media, Ambassador Program, and RE.Net.
The following portion focuses on desire for more RE merchandise, recommendation to others, connection to fans, learning about game/merchandise development, and the franchise as a whole.
Finally, comment boxes about activities on various portals, and which games you would like to see remakes for.
Where can I take the survey?
Whenever you are ready, you can find the survey here. It can be completed on your desktop, laptop, or mobile devices.
Looking to the future.
What’s in store for Resident Evil in the future? We will have to wait and see.
Personally, I would love to see something for Resident Evil 5 resurface, and a ton more animated films. There is something about animated films producing more nuanced gratuitous zombie violence.
During the 2023 PlayStation Showcase, Capcom showed us new gameplay footage of Resident Evil 4 Remake’s VR mode. No release date was provided. The VR mode will be released as a free update for owners of Resident Evil 4 on PS5. This will be a great way to take your PS VR2 for a spin or to grab one if you’ve been waiting!
What remakes or new content are you most looking forward to? Are you a collector? Show us your best Resident Evil collection!
