The new face of Windows; Windows 10 is set to be released on 29th of July this year. With only a few days left before its release, many of the Windows users around the world would have received an invitation to upgrade to Windows 10 with a free subscription for a year. Afterwards you’ll have to pay for it obviously.
This time around Microsoft skipped the numbers and jumped directly to Windows 10 instead of Windows 9. The reason given was that this time around Windows will skip the traditions and will now work as a WaaS or Windows as a Service. This means that you won’t necessarily have to upgrade or change your OS every few years because all the upgrades and updates will be coming to the same OS over a course of the years to come, promising a better experience.
Windows 10 also lets you stream your XBox on your PC, which was considered as a move for increasing XBox sales in comparison with the PS4 who always led the race.
Skipping back to the topic, many people would have been wondering whether if they would be able to play old games on their systems with their new OS. Microsoft updates a list of games supported by Windows 10 every now and then. So these are the games which are supported by Windows 10 and have been verified.

Back in the day, I wanted to play Pokemon Leaf Green and since I had no Gameboy Advance, the only option I had was to download an emulator to play the game. I was also wondering if I could still play it on Windows 10 and my wish was answered. Apart from the Gameboy Advanced Emulator, there are also a couple of other emulators that are supported by Windows 10.

All in all, Windows 10 is the best OS yet to be offered by Microsoft with a couple of cunning and crafty applications and programs.
For current Windows 7 and 8.1 users: a free upgrade will be offered for one year; then $119/£99/€135 to start if you miss the window or buy a new license. As of July 29 and onwards, all the laptops and Windows slates will be powered by Windows 10.
