Genshin Impact Xiao Character Guide

With the 1.3 update, Genshin Impact welcomes a new 5-star character to its roster! Xiao was previously featured in the beta but has not made an appearance in the game’s full release until now. He is known as a withdrawn character living at the Wangshu Inn but in the Lantern Rites Festival Event that update 1.3 brings, we get to see him come out of his shell even more.

If you’re excited to pull his character, make sure you’ve got enough Primogems at hand! If you’re stumped, you can always buy Google Play Gift Card and get it over with.

Here comes a detailed guide to his character and the best way to make full use of him.

Who is Xiao?

Xiao, “The Conqueror of Demons” and “Guardian Yaksha”, is the latest 5-star character to grace the world of Genshin Impact. An S tier character that can be pulled through a limited time banner with Wind Anemo powers and a polearm as a weapon. As the last living member of the five Yakshas, he is tasked with hunting demons around Liyue. He is also an Adeptus and known as a protector of Liyue, all of which is reflected in his skills and high combat ability.

Character Banner

Xiao’s banner “Invitation to Mundane Life” starts from February 3rd to February 17th. This is in correlation to Genshin Impact’s 1.3 update. Other pulls that could come from the banner would be Diona, Beidou, and Xinyan.
