Google Play Games is a gaming service developed by Google. It allows users to browse, download, and play games on Android devices, Chromebooks, and Windows PCs. Google Play Games also offers features such as cloud saves, achievements, and multiplayer gaming.
Google Play Games is a free service, but some games may require in-app purchases. There are also a number of built-in games that you can play for free, such as Solitaire, Minesweeper, and Snake.
To get started with Google Play Games, you can download the app from the Google Play Store. Once you have the app installed, you can sign in with your Google account and start browsing, downloading, and playing games.
Download and install was quick and easy, Although I did need to reboot to enable Virtualisation in the BIOS.
With this being A beta, the amount of games right now is quite limited, There is (at time of writing this article) 1over 100 Games available. Although this is going to be growing daily.
List of games :
Off the Road – Offroad Car Driver Game
Taste of Hero ? |

Vegas Live Shots: Casino Games
First looks are a simple and easy to understand interface, Installing is as easy as 1 click,I you have played it on your android device you will see a cloud icon with a down arrow, If you have not played it you will see just a Down Arrow Icon, When the game has downloaded and is ready to play you will see the ‘Play’ icon. All appear in the top left of the game picture
I tried Galaxiga, 1945 Airforce, Drift Max Pro, Hungry Shark Evolution to start with, All 4 Play smoothly and cleanly. The screen will either Portrait window or if its a Landscape game, go full screen. Some games have been made to use a keyboard and/or a mouse which is a nice touch. The mouse works as a finger on a touch screen and play is quite smooth. Although there is some polishing to be done. Overall most of the games I play that are available for this play smoothly (and in some cases better) than they do on the phone (Samsung Galaxy S20).
I got an update today when I ran the program, so it has had some improvements. Although there is no ‘patch notes’ available.
I tried more games and one of the others that didn’t play as well as the phone after the patch. The games didn’t seem to be as bad. But this could be because of newer graphics drivers or some other factor.
Overall The app is great. Though would be nice to have other apps that we have on android to be there and not just games.

I got my 1st computer at age 10 (ZX80) and got the ZX81 shortly after which really peaked my computer interest. My dad started selling Acorn BBC Micros shortly after when I learned a lot more about computers and would often be pulled out of class to sort problems out on school computers.
Since then I have grown up with computers doing jobs like Rapid response network engineer and other network contracts. When I was 40, I had a bad operation and was medically retired. Since then I have met a wonderful lady and got married and had 3 wonderful children. I now stream somewhat on my own channel and for Dragonbloggers also.
