In this post, we will be talking about the “amazing five steps” to build a 5 star blogging product. In this case, “product” means writing excellent quality articles. Before we move on to talking about the steps, let’s define what an excellent quality articles is. An excellent quality article (or Five star product) is an article that gets attention (traffic, comments, pageviews, reputation). Ok, let’s talk about the five steps.
1st Step – Planning – Selecting a Topic
The 1st step to building a 5 star product is about “Planning” – Selecting your topic. Before you begin to write your article, you need to think about what topic, you should write on. As a blogger, I would suggest you to write about anything that interests you – any topic. Experience is the key to succeeding in blogging. Writing about any topic (that interests you)will help you to find your best topic (the most suitable). Selecting a topic is especially important if you are a blogger. The best thing a blogger can ever do (to achieve success) is write on the most suitable topic. Planning (according to me) is the most important step in making a five star blogging product.
2nd and 3rd Steps – Recording and Writing
The 2nd and 3rd steps in writing a high quality article are collecting information and writing (researching and typing it up). After you have selected your topic, you need to research on it. You need to search through the Blogosphere. Look at what others have written. You can also use search engines to increase the depth of researching. You can also use comments to do your research (two types – 1. your comments and 2. someone else’s comments). Comments have helped me a lot in writing good articles. After your extensive research, you need to start “writing”. In this case, you can write in two different ways :- 1. Write about something new – fresh new idea or 2) Write about something old – Put your twist into something old (add new tips to old article). Both of these are excellent ways to write a high quality article.
4th Step – Editing
The fourth step in creating a high quality article is “editing your article”. After you write it, you need to reread it. You need to edit your article. Rereading will help you with removing errors (spelling, grammar). To a visitor, errors are irritating(Imagine this with a first time reader ; first impression = the best impression). Don’t you want to give your visitor the best impression ?(so that he/she will visit your blog again). If you want to do it, then you have to be serious about rereading (I have to let you know of one thing : I don’t reread, but I do. My method is to write a sentence while reading it – doing it at the same time (whether this technique is hard or easy, depends on the blogger). Rereading can also help you with adding extra information (Trust me, I have been able to add more information to many of my posts). Anyway, My advise for you is to reread – how to do it is your decision.
5th and Final Step – Presenting or Publishing
The fifth and final step to building a 5 star product is Presenting or Publishing. After you have performed everything from step 1 to step 4, you need to hit the publish button. You need to share your views/ideas with the world (internet). This is the easiest step in building a 5 star product. There is nothing much to do in publishing (Just hit the publish button). Along with publishing comes, promoting. After you have published your article, you should consider promoting your article.
Ok, that’s it for the five steps to building a five star product. I hope that these five steps will help you to write an excellent quality post. Anyway, Thank you for tuning in at Dragonblogger. I wish yo all the best for the future.
