I was so excited to get another copy of Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden from my Humble Bundle monthly subscription because I get to giveaway a copy of this amazing game that I had bought back in October as a pre-order.  This is an amazing strategy game set after the world is ravaged by nuclear war, it is based on the Mutant Year Zero RPG and it similar to the old RPG game known as Gamma World.  This game plays like a turn based strategy game very similar to X-Com 2 but with some free exploring before encounters start which allow you to pick up treasure and setup ambushes. The game takes advantage of distance, cover, as well as height (climbing buildings, flying…etc).  A very enjoyable roster of characters with different skillsets make Mutant Year Zero: Road to Eden one of the most fun strategy games I have played in 2018 and I can tell you I enjoyed more than X-Com 2 because of the free exploration aspect.
