Nothing spells creativity like a web site owner who puts some jazz and spice into the almighty generic 404 “Page Not Found” error, the blog post 70 more fantastic 404 error pages on FrancescoMugnai.com compiles some of the best ones I have ever seen.
Here are just two of my favorites from the multitude of creative error pages you can see on this site, I encourage you to check out the article to see the rest, if you appreciate some IT humor.

There is more than creativity involved. This creative website owner would actually have to know how to do it.

True but website owner may not be the engineer or web developer in most cases. It is also pretty easy to create custom html page and set it as the 404 page for IIS, Apache you can pretty much google it.

Ha, These are very funny.
I am toying with the idea of installing a gallery (with affiliate links) on my “not found” page. Is there any reason not to do this? I just hate to waste all that digital real estate. Are there other ways to use that page?

Probably not a bad idea, or at least configure with some links to within your own site.

Nice one Hesham,
It’s always a good thing to have an amusing 404 page. Takes the anger out of not finding what you want. Then kinda makes people which that they don find what they want, just to see your 404 page.
Can I be as bold to show you mine.
