I have a mixed relationship with desktops and laptops, on one hand we all know that a desktop can give you more power at a better price, but the mobility factor has become more important to me as of late as I often travel between two places and lugging my mid sized case and 24” monitor is not an option when going out of town for 3-4 days once a month.  So a high quality gaming laptop is something that someone may consider worth sacrificing a little power and adding more cost at the expense of having the portability and small form factor.
