Meet the GTA Cars in Real Life

If you are in love with the roaring vroom vroom of the GTA V cars then you are no doubt in love with cars in general. In other words you are probably a petrol head J We already know that the majority of the cars in Grand Theft Auto are direct translations of cars in real life. If you didn’t know that then where did you think they came from? The cars in the game are diverse, and stunning. They get your heart pounding don’t they?

Let’s take a look at 5 of the cars featured in Grand Theft Auto V and find out a bit about them. These are just a few of the stunners you will have seen in the game!

The Chevrolet Corvette 427 convertible

Perhaps the most distinctive part of this Corvette is its tail. The Corvette 427 features carbon fibre for the floor panels, fenders and front hood. Technology runs through the car with magnetoheological fluids facilitating top shock absorption, and enabling the suspension to auto adjust over 1000 times every second during turns. Cornering has never been so smooth!

The Audi R8 Spyder

This sporty convertible has some pretty neat features. The seat belts feature Bluetooth microphones embedded in them so that you can meander through the streets, or wind through country roads whilst chatting on the phone. There is also a pop-up HUD showing you some of the technical aspects of the car that you need to know, such as whether cruise control is enabled or not. Oh yeah… And it’s a pretty good looking beast too.

The Porsche 911 Carrera

You’ll be hard pressed to find a car that is more fun to drive than the Porsche 911. On top of this Porsche started to add some pretty nifty technological features to satisfy even the most geeky Porsche lover. There is a 7 inch touchscreen, an Aha radio app for streaming Internet radio and easy connection up to your smart phone for integration with your life. The Porsche 911, especially in red, is a pretty sexy vehicle. Don’t you just love it?

The Ferrari California

Ferraris are the Rolls-Royces of cars; oh no they are the Ferraris! Everybody loves a beautiful Ferrari, and the Ferrari California is just about the most beautiful of them. The GTA version of the Ferrari California is a little different to the actual real-life version. They probably would have struggled to get licensing to imitate Ferrari directly. The Ferrari California is lighter and speedier than its predecessors. Weighing almost 70 lbs less than the previous generations of Ferrari it gets around the roads, and the track that much better. Babe magnet or what?
