The Havit F2056 Laptop Cooling pad was the latest cooling pad I reviewed from Havit and I will say it is the best one I have reviewed so far by far.
Check out our Video Unboxing and Review of the Havit HV F2056
What makes this laptop cooling pad so nice is the fact that they did away with the flimsy feet of the previous model and now the entire enclosure feels a bit more solid but it is still very light weight, you also get 3 fans now and the cooling pad easily accommodates 13″ – 17″ laptops. For those who don’t like the constant blue light of the LED’s I can tell you that a standard 15.6″ or larger laptop covers the grill in such a way that the blue LED from the fan lights are not even visible hardly so it almost made no sense to even have them glow at all.
For 3 fans this thing is whisper quiet considering it has three large 110mm fans in it, though I will say that the airflow is decent it would have been nice to include a switch to ramp it up a bit more for when you are gaming on your laptop without being attached to a power supply. The Laptop cooling fan is nice but when a gaming laptop gets HOT it burns very hot, and having the option to speed up the fans even at the expense of adding a little noise would have been a nice touch.
It requires no external A/C power and gets all it’s power from the USB port and has an additional USB port to return the port it takes up so that you don’t lose a USB port, though it won’t do full USB 3.0 pass through so you can’t charge a device with the Laptop cooling pad USB port, so if you use a USB 3.0 port you only get the equiv of a USB 2.0 port back.
For a 3 fan cooling pad it is nice and priced within range of equivalent multi-fan cooling pads, but the three fans definitely provide more cooling than single fan laptop cooling pads. Overall I think the Havit HV-F2056 Laptop Cooling pad is a 4 star product, it would be a 5 star product if they added a variable speed switch and allowed for even more airflow, or even if it was a little more competitively priced and say was $10 less, then it would get 5 stars for out pricing its competition in the same laptop cooling pad class. Either way you won’t be disappointed with it and I have been using it for nearly 2 months now every day 24 hours a day.
