Install Windows XP on SATA Hard Disk – Part 3

This is the third post in the “How to Install Windows XP on SATA Hard Disk” series. Unless you have read the previous posts, please go to:

After you have setup the BIOS for installing Windows XP,

  1. Power on your computer
  2. Insert the Windows XP CD/DVD
  3. Proceed to install Windows XP

It should take approximately 40 minutes to complete installation.

Now, you are ready to furnish your Windows XP installation:

  1. First of all, install all the hardware drivers for your computer.
  2. Then install an Antivirus program.

After this you may install all the applications you had previously (which are compatible with Windows XP).
Don’t forget to update you Windows installation regularly!

Get the latest SATA driver for your computer if available. If you are unable to get it, there is no problem, but the graphics quality may not be so good.

Now you can do whatever you wanted to with Windows XP on your computer!
