During CES 2025, Jackery unveiled its most powerful line of portable power stations, including the 5000 Plus series, designed to function as a home backup during blackouts. This model can be purchased with a smart switch that allows appliances and devices to automatically switch to the backup power supply so they can continue to be used without worry.
Jackery has integrated a UPS mode with 0ms latency, which is much more surprising than the 20ms that the competition usually offers. The battery capacity of the Jackery 5000 Plus portable power station starts from 5040 Wh, which represents a large power capacity to keep multiple appliances and devices running uninterrupted. In addition, it is possible to double its maximum power from 7200 W to 14,400 W by connecting another Jackery 5000 Plus in parallel.
The battery capacity can be expanded according to each user’s requirements, so it is possible to go from 5040 Wh to up to 60,000 Wh by adding expandable batteries that Jackery has designed exclusively for this portable power station. Adding expandable batteries can provide uninterrupted power to a home for up to 15 days.
Jackery also unveiled its new Jackery Explore 3000 V2, which is more compact than the previous version. This is a portable power station with a 3000 Wh LiFePO4 battery, designed to last for more than 10 years. It offers a maximum output of 3600 W, which can be obtained in accumulation between the multiple integrated ports or through a maximum output via an AC port.
The new Jackery Explore 3000 V2 will be available in the first quarter of 2025, priced at $2499.
