CES 2025 is the largest technology trade show of the year and has been filled with exciting announcements, and this seems just the beginning. Yesterday, there were interesting presentations from tech giants like Sony, Samsung, Nvidia, AMD, and more. If for some reason you missed our article with the most relevant news from the first day of CES, you can click here to read it once you finish reviewing this new, jam-packed article about the highlights from the second day.
While the first article mainly focused on news about artificial intelligence, something that will definitely continue throughout the event, we want to shift the theme and focus on the best product presentations that will be available in 2025. So, we’re sure you’ll be amazed by these new innovations in the tech sector.
Rictor Skyrider X1
Why buy a car when you can have a moped and a quadcopter in one vehicle? It sounds like science fiction, but Rictor unveiled their model at CES 2025. According to the specifications shown, this vehicle can stay in the air for 25 minutes in the X1 SL model and up to 40 minutes with a larger battery capacity in the X1 SX model. And of course, its range on land should be much greater.
So, this is definitely a wild idea that could revolutionize the market, but we must be cautious with such innovations. You know, any drone weighing more than 249 grams could be an issue in the United States, so this thing would definitely require some extra permits.
By the way, the starting price, according to Rictor’s official website, is $60,000.
Lenovo Aims to Compete with the Steam Deck
The Lenovo Legion Go S appears to be a strong alternative that will directly compete with the Steam Deck and is designed to offer an ultra-immersive experience for frequent travelers. It has a design and feel that closely resembles the Steam Deck itself, according to some people who had the chance to try it during the presentation.
The launch price will start at $499. While it will compete with the Steam Deck, it will be fully compatible with SteamOS, allowing fans to enjoy their favorite games without limitations. A Windows version will also be available, although at a higher price starting from $729 (with 1TB of storage).
One important detail to highlight is that Lenovo partnered with AMD to create the Ryzen Z2 Go chip, which will apparently be exclusive to the console.
Jackery Presents Curved Solar Tiles
Many people seem reluctant to take advantage of solar energy at home because they don’t like the idea of giant solar panels on their roofs. Therefore, Jackery, a leading company in portable power stations and high-performance solar panels, has unveiled its curved solar tiles, designed to be installed on home roofs and can closely mimic the appearance of real roof tiles.
Whether in obsidian or terracotta, both offer a solar conversion efficiency of up to 24%, as Jackery announced at CES. This could be a major revolution for homes looking to maintain a clean roof aesthetic while taking advantage of solar energy.
EcoFlow Unveils Its Solar Hat
EcoFlow is another great brand we’ve worked with several times, and it’s great to see them participating in the largest tech trade show of the year. At CES, EcoFlow impressed everyone with their solar hat, which is essentially designed to charge devices like smartphones, headphones, flashlights, and similar items.
While we can be sure that this is not a product for everyone, it could definitely become a great solution for those who frequently camp or hike. Just imagine going on your outdoor adventures while keeping your essential devices charged, and of course, staying better protected from UV rays.
Honda Unveils Two Electric Vehicles
Honda also had an important and revealing presence on the second day of CES. They introduced their new electric vehicles, which seem to be the way forward for most manufacturers in the coming years. It’s said to be a revolutionary step in the electric vehicle sector, with features that stand out for their longer range and a luxury entertainment system for more demanding users.
However, these new electric vehicles won’t be available to consumers until 2026. They will initially be produced in the United States, then expand to Japan and Europe.
On the first day of CES, Sony showed a great collaboration with Honda, so it wouldn’t be surprising if they were somehow involved in these much-anticipated electric vehicles.
These were just some of the best product presentations that took place on the second day of CES 2025!
