Now, this game has held my attention for quite a while. I have played many other game like it, but to me this one has so much more to offer.
In this game, your goal is to keep the settlers from getting through the canyon. I know what your thinking, you have played other games like this one before. Well, yes you probably have but what I found so different about this one was that some times, you have one way in, and one way out, while other times you may have 2-3 or more ways in and out. That keeps you on your toes.
Aside from the obvious, you have gun men, guys with dynamite, cannons, Indians with flaming arrows, trains, boats and more. All the players can be moved around and placed just where you want them. This way you can optimize your firing field and in some cases get players to guard more than one path at a time.
In addition to the various characters you have to play with, there are trunks available that can add cash, or one of several power ups. Also if you happen to let one or two settlers slip past to safety, you may find a trunk with a star above it that will reset you losses a bit.
I have been playing this game for weeks now, and have completely enjoyed it, and I am sure you will to.
I have worked in and around many different types of computers. In the Navy, I used a magtape drive computer that was a step down from pen and paper. I later worked for a big computer company and after that, taught computer class’s nation wide. I had the privilege of teaching 14,000 students in a 2 years period of time. Afterwards, I owned a small computer training and repair shop for a few years. I have owned C-64’s, Pc’s of various types, Amiga’s, and even Mac’s. I now have included the android to my collection. At any time, I have close to 15-20 computers or combinations of computers and game systems in the house. I look forward to more.
