Micro Quadcopter Sale and More Over at Gearbest this Week

Micro Quadcopters to me are ideal at getting kids introduced to flying quadcopters, they are very cheap and give you some practice in piloting a quad copter with a controller.  Their generally low price means if you crash them into trees or they get damaged you aren’t going to be out a hundred bucks or more and their small size means they don’t require to be registered so you can start playing with them right away.

Gearbest has a few deals on some mini quadcopters this week including the JJRC H36 which is actually quite durable and has some great features for a quadcopter that is less than $12 dollars this week!  This 4 channel 6 axis gyro RC quadcopter sports a speed switch, can do 3D flips and has one way return.

Your basic controller layout includes the throttle stick, speed stick, one key return, headless mode, power switch, forward and back tuning, left and right tuning, your power indicator and the 3D flipping button.

You also get LED lights on this mini RC Quadcopters as well.  I have personally used JJRC mini quadcopters before though not one that had this many features and my kids played with them for a few months before various flights took their toll, they are a good ROI but as with typical micro quadcopters they have short battery life so stocking up on some extra batteries is usually a good idea.

With the FuriBee F36 mini drone you can choose between a Cyan color or Orange and this quadcopter also features 3D flips and has LED lights.

The controller itself takes 3 AAA batteries while the quadcopter uses a small Li-Io battery that you charge before you fly the drone, as with all micro-drones they typically have 6 minutes of play time off a single battery, so it is a good idea to stock up on multiple batteries if you want to have 1/2 hour fly sessions with them.  Gearbest has free worldwide shipping and because they can ship to well over 100+ countries is a great option for picking up great deals, especially for those who live in countries where other retailers may not ship to.

One other nice drone on sale this week over at Gearbest is the JJRC H37 ELFIE Foldable Mini RC Selfie Drone which is a cut above the rest of the drones above in that it sports a camera and you use your JJRC mobile app to take selfies or pictures with the drone while it is in flight.  Headless mode allows it to hover so you can make micro adjustments and snap a shot.

What I particularly like about the JJRC H37 ELFIE is that you can fold in the rotary blades for storage or transport so that you don’t risk damaging the blades by them sticking out where they can be crushed or damaged when stored or being transported.  Also with G-sensor it will detect your phone and automatically follow you when you are walking with your phone staying close to it. Like the other drones it has 1 click auto return as well so that you can recall it after leaving it in headless mode and walking away from it or simply you fly it a bit away and want it to auto return instead of manually flying it back.

At $34.99 this drone would be the best one of the batch listed here in my opinion and worth the extra price to pick up.
