Nokia Announces its First Windows Phones Lumia 800 and Lumia 710

Nokia finally announces their first Windows phones after their strategic partner with Microsoft. The Finish handset manufacturer announced two of its new Windows phones called the Lumia 800 and Lumia 710 at the Nokia World 2011 event which was held in London, UK.

The Nokia Lumia 800 is nothing more than a Windows version of the Nokia N9. The new phone looks absolutely similar to Nokia’s last Meego device which features a 3.7 inch AMOLED display, a 1.4 GHz processor, 8 megapixel camera, 16GB internal memory, etc. The Lumia 800 looks sleek and trendy with a smooth, clear and a sharp user interface.

The new Nokia Lumia 800will be available in select countries for pre-order onwww.nokia.com and will be launched in France, Germany, Italy, the Netherlands, Spain and the UK in November. It is also scheduled to be available in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan before the end of the year, and in further markets in early 2012 at an expected retail price of 420 EUR (US $580). The Nokia Lumia 710 is scheduled to be available first in Hong Kong, India, Russia, Singapore and Taiwan by the end of 2011 which will be priced at 270 EUR (US $372).
