Bandai Namco and Hipster Whale the makers of Crossy Road team up for a new game called Pac-Man 256 which features the famous level 256 glitch from the original Pac-Man arcade.  This game has you chomping away while trying to avoid a level falling apart around you in graphical glitches adding to the challenge.

This iPhone and iPad game coming out this summer should be a success if it catches on like Crossy Road did which is a Frogger inspired game that has become more habitual than mobile casinos on your tablet device to so many fans.  I personally play Crossy Road pretty frequently and only have a total hop score of like 256 and usually die in the 50 – 90 hop range more often than not.

Take a look at the trailer and if you are a Pac-Man fan, then you may want to consider Pac-Man 256 this summer to break up the monotony of the other tablet or smartphone games you are playing.  I still find most of my time hooked into Hearthstone on the iPhone and Kindle Fire HDX, though I recently bought Final Fantasy 6 for the Kindle Fire HDX and am hoping to start jumping into it pretty soon.

According to a recent article in VentureBeat, Gamers have downloaded Crossy Road more than 80 million times across iOS and Android, and it has made more than $10 million as of March 2015 which is astonishing considering it is a free game and unlike games which make you purchase more plays or benefits, the only thing you really purchase is additional characters to play as which give no game advantage really.

What are your latest iPhone or Android game habits, share your time suckers and let us know which mobile games keep you coming back for more!
