Rip DVD to Kindle Fire Format
I chose Kindle Fire Format only because I had my 2 kids Kindle Fire’s and they wanted a copy of Megamind ripped from my DVD. You could just as easily choose any media format which include Microsoft Surface, Kindle Fire 7″ HD, Kindle Fire 8.9″ HD, Google Nexus 7 or so many more.
All you need to do is open WinX DVD Ripper Platinum and select Open Disc, or if you have an ISO Image or the Video files directly you can open those folders/files.
Then the output profile selection in WinX DVD Ripper Platinum 2012 is what really shines, you simply select the exact device you want to create the output media file for. Nearly every iOS, Android or Windows device is an option to choose from. For Kindle Fire formats you will find them in the Android Pad > Amazon Video section, where you can select the exact Kindle Fire format you want to output to.
Simply select how many CPU Core’s you want to set your computer to use, set your output destination folder then click run. It took about 1/2 hour to rip a 2 hour movie (21 minutes for 1.5 hour movie with the default of 2 CPU cores being selected and writing to a 5400RPM drive. It is faster if you are writing the file out to an SSD drive.
This software works perfectly and I have seen no video jitter, artifacts or audio problems so far after burning several movies including the full Lord of the Rings Return of the King DVD to Kindle Fire format. I also did a few movies including Iron Man to the iPad video format and it also played flawlessly.
