For those who have been following me for a long time, you will know that nearly all of the video content that I produce and some of my writing staff produce on the Dragon Blogger YouTube channel is done with Camtasia Studio.  I have been using the software since 2009 and it is my favorite tool for putting together professional looking video allowing me to do numerous video edits, adding in callouts, branding logos, voiceover recording and when needed you can record your webcam and overlay your webcam video on top of your screencast recordings to.

Here is a little video demo on how to resize images like putting your logo on top of a video.

Well one thing about Camtasia Studio is that it is an incredibly piece of software with a ton of features, but it certainly isn’t cheap for those who are on a tight budget but want to up the level of their game when it comes to doing videos whether it be for vlogging or screencasting.

TechSmith has partnered with us to giveaway a copy of Camtasia Studio 8.4 the latest version to one lucky reader, and with this you can get started doing incredible presentation videos, gamecasting videos or more.

Note, what I do is my game recording in FRAPS and then import the FRAPS massive AVI file into Camtasia Studio, do appropriate editing, logo branding and then directly upload to YouTube as a 1080p MP4 or use it for DailyMotion or whatever your favorite video site is.  For vlogging you can simply pair with your webcam and record the screen why viewers see that little box with your webcam in one of the corners of the screen.  Add transitions with ease, and layer tracks as needed both audio and video tracks can be layered.

Tell us, what will you use Camtasia Studio for if you win a copy?
