This is a review of the GRDE Zoomable 3 Modes Super Bright LED Headlamp which is a fantastic product which you wear on your head to spot a beam in front of you so you can see where you are going in the dark or simply to illuminate a dark area or spot light on something you are working on like wiring or when working inside a computer case.  This headlamp has so many applicable purposes whether you are camping and outdoors, or you simply are working in your house, closet or garage, or even working out late in the backyard.

I wore this headlamp in the dark and explored the beach near me several times with it, I also used it to find stuff under the bed in the dark at night, so the images taken are night time images and therefore grainy because I don’t have flash on the camera.  But wearing the headlamp it has thick head straps and fits on my head easily and without issue.

The GRDE Headlamp has 3 modes on it, high beam, low beam and strobe light.  The high beam is a very powerful beam that was more powerful and had a wider area of illumination than the Atomic Beam flashlight and the Suaoki Cree Bulb Emergency Flashlight I was reviewing along side this headlamp.

It claims lifespan of 100,000 hours total use time, though it says hours lit before you need to recharge it, it comes with a 3 chargers including an AC Wall outlet charger, a Car Charger and a USB charging cable, so you basically can charge it no matter where you are.  The headlamp itself is adjustable where you can point the beam from straight in front of you, to down at your feet.

Overall I found it to be a fantastic light option and the ability to use it to work in tight and dark spaces made it ideal, exploring the beach allowed us to find seashells and crabs in the dark and I was able to collect several sand dollars at night with this headlamp, my boys and I had a great time exploring with one of my son’s using the Atomic Beam flashlight, the other using the Suoaki Flashlight and I had the headlamp on.

Now the Amazon description says it could be used as a desk lamp or waist lamp but this headlamp does not just simply buckle around your waist, you would have to find a way to prop or affix it to use it like that, I thought that was a bit misleading and would think you can detach the center strap and use it as a belt like lamp but you cannot.

One thing I forgot to mention in the video that is worth noting is that the beam is zoomable, which means you can focus the beam into a very tight and small concentrated beam or you can widen the beam to cover a larger area.  The tighter the beam the brighter the beam is when it hits it’s target point too, here are some pictures showing the tightest focus and widest focus of the GRDE Zoomable headlamp.

Still all said and done this was an excellent headlamp that provided a lot of light at 1800 lumens and this worked better than any flashlight I had tested previously, so I would give it a solid 4.5 stars and recommend that if you need a headlamp the GRDE headlamp is a great option and at $20.99 on Amazon at the time of this option is an excellent value.
