Ground Breakers Now on Steam

The Apocalypse happened two centuries ago melting the polar ice and submerging all land underwater. Chaotic riots led to the collapse of all governments. Giant inhabitable cubes were built, and linked to each other. The rarity and value of minerals skyrocketed. New corporations and organizations focused on dominating mineral rich areas rose to power; water-run robots are still the pillars of their strength.

Ground Breakers is a Turn based tactic game that breaks the traditional system of class. Each unit is unique with endless ways to customize. A few centuries after the apocalypse, ice in the two poles have melted and the earth has no land left. Disorder and riots are occurring everywhere. Governments were destroyed. People built giant cubes and linked them together to have a place to live on. Minerals became rare and hold much value. All the big corporates and organizations rise to powers and start to trade, research robot run by water to dominate mineral rich areas.

We played through the game for a bit, watch our videos below:

So the game obviously has a tile board nad shows your characters movement areas, and you take turns strategically placing your characters.  It harks back to turn based strategy games, showing your area of attack as well.  The play is smooth and fluid, and the animations are enjoyable.
