With the new year here, it’s important to measure your stats so you can see if your hard work is paying off. One way to do that is with a smart scale that can track all of the information you need to know. The INEVIFIT Eros smart body scale tracks 13 different metrics and comes with a free app so you can see when you’re making progress and even set goals within the app for it. Overall, I really like this scale and it has become the primary one I use for measurements. The biggest feature of this scale that sets it apart for me is the ability to switch it to “athlete mode”. When you work out a lot, scales can measure your body wrong due to the amount of muscle you have versus fat. This can lead to inaccurate measurements and you won’t know if you’re truly making progress or not.
Setting up the Eros scale
Right on the front of the Eros scale is a QR code so people can find the app easily. Once it downloaded, I had to set up a profile that took less than two minutes to do. This is also where I saw the “athlete mode” option which really struck my eye. The scale I’ve been using for over a year says I’m currently at 20% body fat whereas this scale says 14%. That is the difference due to the athlete mode which actually has an impact on how things are measured.
Once I set up the profile, I simply connected the scale to the app by hitting the + side in the upper right corner and stepping on the scale. It connected and imported my measurements right away. If you tip the scale or store it upright, you need it to recalibrate before you get more measurements.
The batteries that are included are under the foam, so you need to make sure you flip it over to find them.
The INEVIFIT Eros scale app
The Eros scale app is free to use and download. I’ve included a few pictures of the inside of the app to give you a good idea of how it works and what it measures. The scale also works with Fitbit, Apple Health, and Google Fit. You can put on unlimited users so your whole family can track their results. It automatically connects when you step on the scale and updates your information.
This scale allows you to measure 13 key metrics:
- Weight
- BMI
- Body fat
- Fat-free body weight
- Subcutaneous fat
- Visceral fat
- Body water
- Skeletal muscle
- Muscle mass
- Bone mass
- Protein
- BMR
- Metabolic age
Overall use and design of the INEVIFIT scale
The design on the scale is modern, so it looks good in most spaces. It comes in both black and white so you can fit the right color for your room. The top of the scale has 6mm temperate glass which can hold a weight up to 400 lbs. No matter where you are in your fitness journey, this scale can help. There’s also a 3.6″ LED display so you can see the measurements.
