I know what my readers must be thinking “another power bank, really?” and I would tend to agree with you that most power banks are a dime a dozen, but when we get a power bank or external battery that has new features or supports something that makes it stand out compared to other power banks we are more than happy to review them and compare them to previous power banks we have reviewed. So we have the Lumsing P2 Glory Power Bank that was sent to us and while this isn’t the highest capacity power bank at 15,000mAh it is in the mid to higher range for external batteries.
So the external battery is quite a bit longer and thicker than an iPhone it is also fairly heavy, but you get a MicroUSB input port, a USB Type-C Input/Output Port and a QC2/QC3 USB Charging port and a Smart Charging port. I confirmed with the Samsung Galaxy Edge S7 only supports Quick Charge 2.0 so I wasn’t able to confirm Quick Charge 3.0 speeds, but I can tell you the QC2 port is faster than the Smart port and charges that phone very quickly. The Smart output port however is no slouch at charging an iPhone 6, Kindle Fire HDX 8.9 or anything else I can throw at it.
What makes this Power Bank truly unique is that the Lumsing Glory P2 has a USB Type C port which can either be used for charging USB Type C devices or it can be used to charge the power bank itself. This power bank also supports the ability to charge via MicroUSB and the brand says you can charge the powerbank via MicroUSB and USB Type-C at the same time allowing the power bank to charge much faster than charging from a single input source. This part was completely unique and I hadn’t seen a power bank that can draw in charge from 2 external sources at the same time, though I do not have any USB Type C devices and am unable to test and confirm this from my hands on review.
Just from what I was able to test though this power bank is excellent and makes for a good backup to have in case of emergency. For example, I had a 7 hour power outage from the severe rain storms here in Southern California in recent weeks and my kids as well as my wife and myself were literally living off our phones for everything for 7 hours, so this caused battery drain, I had both my kids splitting this power bank and it kept both of their phones fine for that duration of time and still had enough charge to handle both phones my wife and I were using.

This is a solid power bank and the Glory P2 External Battery from Lumsing gets a solid 4.5 star recommendation from me, though it is very large and heavy and I think for portability sake a power bank could be a bit lighter and slimmer even if it can have all the bells and whistles.
