Mixcder ANC-G5 Earbuds Review

Sometimes you get to test a product that just passes your expectations. Today is one of those days and I have tested and reviewed a few sets of earbuds over the past few years. So normally I try and steer clear of them lately. For some reason, my brain said to give these a try so my friends over at Mixcder sent me their new set of earbuds.  Before I get into why they exceeded my expectations let talk about the ANC-G5 Earbuds in hand and what comes in the package.

You get the earbuds, charging cord, different size earlobe pieces, and a carrying case. The box has the brand and model name in bright gold writing.

The back side has some specs listed but the writing is such fine print that it was pointless to really read the details. At least to me, I would need a magnifying glass to read the specs on the back of the box.

Once you open the box you are presented with the user’s manual.

This guide pretty much tells you how the noise canceling works and buttons on the control box which hangs down the cord works.

The egg shell case that the ANC-G5 earbuds come in is hard and holds the earbuds themselves.

They claim the shell is water resistant. Once zipped open you are presented with the product itself and some extras.

I know you’re asking yourself why the charging cord? Well, simply this is a wired earbud set but needs a charging cord for the noise canceling feature.

The Mixcder ANC-G5 comes with three set of earlobes. Once set is already installed on. As you can see medium and large are not installed. By luck, I didn’t need to change them out the ones installed fit just perfect.

You probably remember me talking about the ANC-G5 need a charging cord to charge the noise canceling. Well, that correct and even though this is a wired earbud set but needs to charge for the noise canceling feature to work.  I have used these for two weeks on one charge. Now the total amount of time I actually used was about 40 hours of music time. I have yet had to charge them again. They claim 8 hours of work time on one charge. You may or may not get what I got off one charge. I think it may just be a fluke. The noise canceling has a button to press on the headset which turns it on.

This is also where you can answer phone calls. The noise canceling works great. It makes the music or phone call sound so much better and does a fantastic job filtering out background noise.

Each ANC-G5 earbud is labeled with an R for the right side and an L for the left side.

Well, you’re probably like why don’t you get to the part we want to know how do they sound?  These earbuds sound amazing and are probably the best sounding wired earbuds I have used to date. Even better than some larger headsets made and tested over the past year.

The sound of music is great, you get that piano sound crystal clear. If you’re into pianos. If you’re are more into rap. Well, then the bass is excellent but not overpowering where you can’t hear the rapper’s words. When listening to heavy metal you can clearly make out most instruments used.  It was a great experience trying this set of earbuds from Mixcder. Now I’m not saying they’re the best out there but they are worth the money. The build quality is nice and seems to stand up to taking a beating so far.  While it is inconvenient to have to remember to charge a set of wired earbuds, the noise cancellation function does last a long time off of a single charge and the best part of using the Mixcder ANC-G5 is when you turn that noise canceling on, the music sounds even better. I didn’t even notice my wife yelling at me when she was trying to get my attention.These are a must purchase if you like wired earbuds. Now the only real downside after my review that I found was that my kid took them from me and won’t give them back now.
