You might be wondering, “Why is a tech site reviewing a yoga backpack?” Well, lot of us who work at our desks all the time should consider stretching. As someone who works at her desk all day, I’ve learned to appreciate stretching. Sitting for so long is not good for the body, so even if you haven’t done yoga before, you might want to start! Enter, the yoga backpack from Sky Tree. This backpack holds all your yoga or sports gear and could even fit your school or work supplies.
Build and Comfort
The Sky Tree backpack is comfortable and has two clips in the front to balance the weight from the bag. The two straps are located across the chest and around the waist. The nice thing about hip straps on backpacks is that it can take the pressure off the top of your shoulders. It is also built with waterproof nylon, so you don’t need to be too worried about getting it wet or running through a little bit of rain.
Space Inside the Sky Tree Backpack
This backpack has two main compartments, one in the front and one center compartment. Inside, there’s a place for a laptop holder with a velcro strap that goes over it to close it. The bag might look small in pictures, but it actually has an impressive amount of room. In the YouTube video I uploaded of this bag, I showed how much room there is. I could easily fit all my work stuff and my workout gear all in this bag at the same time.
Organization and Unique Features
The Sky Tree backpack not only fits your yoga mat in a variety of ways, but it also has a compartment for shoes. This is something I love because I’ve never been a fan of putting my dirty shoes right in with everything else in my bag. You could also keep a swimsuit or something you want to separate in that pocket as well. The backpack also came with two separate bags for holding other sports gear. I am currently using them to hold some massage balls I have that I use when I’m at the gym. They are plastic, so you could keep water items or things you need to keep safe from water in them as well.
Overall, I couldn’t find anything I would change about this backpack. It’s built well, it holds a surprising amount of stuff, it has various straps to balance out the weight, and it makes traveling with my yoga mat so much easier.
