Lanterns can be a huge help when you’re out camping, especially since you don’t usually have access to electricity or lights. Having a reliable light source so you can see what you’re doing is incredibly helpful, and these lanterns from Vont are a great option. The pack I had came with four of them and all of them came with batteries. You simply open them up and they turn on, so even if you’re stuck in a dark area you can quickly illuminate the area around you.
Setting Up the Vont LED Lantern
Once you open the box, the Vont lanterns are basically ready to go. All you need to do is to put in the batteries and it’s ready to use. The box came with all the necessary batteries and all you need to do is screw the bottom of the lantern off to put them where they need to go. There are handles on the top for easy hanging if you prefer to put them up that way.
What it can do
The Vont LED Lantern is made with aircraft grade materials so it can handle the wear and tear that comes with camping. The battery life is around 12 hours, if not more. The LED bulbs are eco-friendly and are bright but don’t hurt your eyes to look at. They could easily light an entire tent, if not farther. If you don’t have a headlamp, you could use these while you hike through an area. They are also ideal for if you lose power in your house or any other time you find yourself in the dark.
This lantern is incredibly light and if you were going to use it while camping, it wouldn’t weigh your bag down in the slightest. If you’re into having a survival kit, this would work perfectly.
