The year is now 2020 and we are further in the future than the setting of Blade Runner back in 1982 (technically we broke that date in November) but yet our future isn’t quite nearly as advanced as many 80’s sci-fi films thought it would be in some ways, yet it is far more advanced in other ways.  We saw the smart phone become one of the most important devices in the last century replacing during the last decade and literally become a central point to our identity as the gateway to everything online and all access to communication and information.

My own goals for the site and Dragon Blogger property seemed to kick into a higher gear in 2019 than in the two years previously, the YouTube channel saw tremendous growth, we started a new Twitch streaming schedule in 2019 and created a Stream team to entertain fans.  I invested hundreds of dollars into giveaways and marketing to ensure I could keep giving away more games, gadgets, prizes and gift cards to fans of the Dragon Blogger communities.

More importantly I met more amazing new people in the streaming community in 2019 than any previous year and would love to give a special shout out to Cabalette, Benda, Sol Invitus, Freakin Popo, RampagingNoob, Oskurd, LarryIRL, Duckplague, TDubz, Meowgamer who probably were the most impactful and I had the most interactions with over the year.  I have learned so much about aspects of live streaming to Twitch, the tools, the communities, the boons, the banes, the challenges and the achievements so many struggle to achiever or struggle through over the past few years on their goals to become full time or big time streamers.

As we go into 2020 we will continue to network with other streamers and entertainers, share our own experiences with the various streaming platforms and tools/tutorials like Mixer, Twitch, Streamlabs OBS, OBS Studio, Firebot…etc.  As my own journey with these new platforms and tools gives me experience I do what I can to share what I learn with others so that they may avoid my mistakes, or find solutions faster than I was able to at the time.

I want to thank the Awesome Dragon Blogger Community for 2019 and I am looking forward to engaging with more of you in 2020!
