Here at DragonBlogger.com we have a rating system from 0 – 5 stars, and honestly it is not very many products that get 5 stars. I tell my editors and product reviewers that before a product can be considered 5 stars they have to consider several points.
- Do the features/functions go above and beyond what you would expect
- Does it lack any features/functions that a similar product has in the same price range?
- Is the price such a great value that it offsets any missing features or isn’t missing any features?
- Is there anything you wished the product had but doesn’t that you thought it should include?
Now, when a product gets 5 stars it means we fully endorse it as the best of class that we have reviewed. Note, we reviewed over 220+ products in 2015 alone, but we can’t review everything so when you ask us to compare a Razer Kraken Pro headset to the HyperX Cloud 2 Gaming Headset for example, we only have reviewed the HyperX Cloud 2 and a dozen other headsets but we can’t specifically say if the Razer Kraken Pro is better or not without being able to review and do direct comparisons. So our reviews also can be updated later on, if a product breaks down within an unreasonable time frame after the review, we will adjust the rating and provide an update. Also if we get reports of horrible support and we try to contact the company on behalf of a consumer and still get horrible support then we will lower the rating as we consider customer support very important for a product and you can’t maintain a 5 star product if you give horrible customer service and support, chances are if you don’t have a support phone number or make it so difficult for readers to contact support, there is a reason and that is because the product may be iffy.
We try to do reviews and test our products for weeks, to do longevity tests which is especially important for tablets and Bluetooth devices where batteries may be faulty so this is often why sometimes we don’t publish a review until weeks after we receive the product to make sure a 2-3 day testing doesn’t reveal a battery flaw or longevity flaw. Some of our writers keep the product for months to answer questions for readers too but again this is something we do because we love doing reviews and helping our readers when we can. We try to give some support, and we get at least a half dozen requests for support for products per week that we try to answer when we can.
Without further information, here are some of the top 5 star products of 2015. I listed them in the new article embed’s because I want you to take the time and read the reviews of the editors who put their time and effort into reviewing the products.
