Review of Interstellar and it’s as close to perfect as a movie that’s 169 minutes long can be.
Last night I took my lovely wife out on a date, and we decided to watch the new movie “Lucy”. I have not read anyone else’s take on the movie yet but here is mine. First of all I love the two main characters in the movie. Morgan Freeman plays a professor that shares with us what might happen if we as humans were able to use more than 10% of our brains. Scarlett Johansson plays … Read more
What do you think about Big Hero 6? Will it be a success or not? Will you be watching it?
My June Nerd Block came this morning. For anyone who is not familiar with this, it is a monthly subscription service that will send you a box of mixed nerdy goodies every month.
Basically this is a story set around an unlikely friendship between a lady bug and a group of black ants.
There is a new horror movie called “The Bringing” in the works based of the events surrounding Elisa Lam.
Godzilla 2014 movie review. I will also try not to spoil anything. Please note these are just my opinions and not the opinions of dragonbogger.com.
R.I.P.D. which stands for the Rest in Peace Department is very much a clone of Men In Black
Review of the movie World War Z starring Brad Bitt by Raymond Stapleton.
I recently had the chance to take my wife out on a long overdue date night. We went to the drive in to see a double feature. This first movie up was The Lone Ranger. I am going to spend a few minutes with you and share my thoughts on the film. I want to start by saying that no matter what anyone else says, you the viewer need to make and form your own … Read more

Typically when reviewing a film like My Little Pony: Equestria Girls, I try to keep in mind the parents that will attempt to grin and bear the experience with their children. Today I find myself in the unique position of having to address the concerns of an additional audience – namely a fanbase. Thankfully, the task at hand is one that actually intrigues me. I too am a self-identified “brony” (or “pegasister”) and love this … Read more
You don’t know how bad I want to describe and talk about the things that make this such a great Star Trek film that pays not only homage to the original series, but the original movies as well as setting it’s own path and direction. You always go into a Star Trek movie and wonder if it will be hit or miss with the rule of every other film being weak compared to the previous, … Read more

I am always a big fan of Sci-Fi action thriller movies. G.I.Joe is a movie series based on the action figures produced by toy company Hasbro. G.I.Joe: Retaliation is a sequel of the G.I.Joe: The Rise of Cobra series. After experiencing it I can say that this movie is just not up to the mark. If you have seen first part G.I.Joe: The Rise of Cobra and are going to watch G.I.Joe: Retaliation then it will likely … Read more
I am a huge fan of the LOTR series and though some reviewers claimed they didn’t like The Hobbit as much due to it not being a true following of the book, I appreciated the fact that Peter Jackson compiled and referenced additional J.R.R. Tolkien works after The Hobbit was published to create a bigger and completer picture of the events going around while the dwarves were seeking to retake their homeland from the evil … Read more
“Video game movies are never good.” This is the tired mantra that is recited time and time again when a movie release is on the horizon that is steeped in the video game universe. Is this phrase usually true? Unfortunately, not many offerings in the past few years have proved otherwise. Enter Disney and their play on virtual worlds we’ve come to enjoy. Wreck-It Ralph seems to have been carefully crafted to not disappoint gamers. … Read more

“Do you hear the people sing? Singing a song of angry men?” This refrain has attracted millions upon millions to see the musical inspired by Victor Hugo’s exquisite work Les Misérables. Theatre goers who witness spectacles on both the stage and the silver screen have waited ages to see a film echo this same rallying cry. Did Tom Hooper’s directing draw the audience into the ranks of the Children of the Barricade? Well, to quote … Read more
The Hobbit, an Unexpected Journey, released Friday to theaters nationwide. Many of the showtimes were sold out, including the ones late Friday night (and probably Saturday as well). As the latest film from Peter Jackson, and the first in the newest J.R.R. Tolkien trilogy, it is not a surprise this was the case. Jackson released the film in every available format out there for the theaters; 2D, 3D, IMAX 3D, and others which most people … Read more
