About Iggy Castillo

I have spent many years in the PC boutique name space as Product Development Engineer for Alienware and later Dell through Alienware's acquisition and finally Velocity Micro. During these years I spent my time developing new configurations, products and technologies with companies such as AMD, Asus, Intel, Microsoft, NVIDIA and more. The Arts, Gaming, New & Old technologies drive my interests and passion. Now as my day job, I am an IT Manager but doing reviews on my time and my dime.

Patriot Viper Gaming RGB DDR4 3200MHz 16GB Kit Review

CAD, Games, Google Chrome, Audio/Photo/Video Editing and your Operating system all together suck up lots of RAM and while you should control everything you have open, sometimes you need everything open.  Sometimes all you can do is get more RAM and that is not a bad thing. Upgrading your RAM is one of the best [...]

Fractal Design Define S2 Vision RGB Case Review

One thing every computer needs is a case, well if you want it to look nice and function properly with airflow.  A good case has good cooling, enough space and compartments to suit everyone’s needs.  Everyone now a days makes a case but it seems that many don’t learn from their mistakes and keep building [...]

Speed, Speed, Speed, we all want our PC’s to perform top notch and hit the highest speeds when possible.  You’ve got the fastest RAM, Processor, Video card, SSD… wait do you really have the fastest?  What if I told you it’s not the fastest anymore, what if I told you there was something more that [...]

Patriot Scorch 256GB PCIe NVMe M.2 SSD Review

One of the biggest treats for your PC is an SSD, icing on the cake is an M.2 and to top it off and an NVMe M.2 PCIe SSD.  Nothing gets a PC boosting it’s speed like a fast SSD, and maybe some RAM and a CPU as well, but that’s a story for another [...]

iBUYPOWER Gaming RDY VIBG202 System Review

Pre-built PC’s and home built PC’s can be very different.  OEM’s many times can water down components, make upgrading impossible with proprietary components, but they can distract you with AMAZING pricing. Home built PC’s are great, if you know what you are doing, have the time and have deep pockets.  You and I don’t get [...]

Maingear Forma R Limited Edition Gaming Chair

Gaming seats have always been marketed as a Racing type seat, with bucket seat looks and more of a mean look to them.  Chairs with a sort of an Indy car flair, seams a bit off I think if you are not into racing or racing sims but it makes a little sense in this [...]

E-WIN Hero Series HR-BC3D Gaming Chair Review

It seems like not to long ago the first gaming chairs came out, I was so disinterested in them.  Why would you charge so much for a chair, it can’t be that comfortable,... can it?  Last year I came to find I was so wrong and these things are incredibly comfortable, so much more than [...]

Fractal Design Define R6 Blackout TG Review

It seems like everyone is building a case these days, and there is nothing wrong with that because it makes companies try harder to make a better case.  That being said, this review might be on that better case, it’s for you to decide, but I will give you my input.  Today's review is on [...]

Glyph Atom Black 1TB SSD A1000BLK Review

Thumb drives are a dime a dozen now, coming in all shapes, sizes and speeds but it is really hard to find a good one.  Good speeds, sizes and shapes determine usually what drives we buy and this one might fit the bill.  Today we will be looking at the Glyph Atom Black 1TB SSD, [...]

EaseUS Data / Partition Recovery Review

After finishing up a video for the Geeek H700 DIY Computer case, I wanted to get working on another review for a bit and magically I find one of my drives missing.  Of course, I freaked out because I have data on that drive, perhaps also review data and I had my Western Digital MyBook [...]

Alienware Pro Gaming Mechanical Keyboard AW768 Review

My usual reviews for keyboards consist of mechanical keyboard with some loud switches, but today's review is a little different.  Today’s review is on the Alienware Pro Gaming Mechanical Keyboard AW768 with Kailh brown switches, so they are quiet but they feel so nice.  The keyboard is nice, but a few things bug me and you [...]
